True Ouddict
I have the old 2022 release, I think this is the new one?Eo musc gardenia Borneo kinam
The oud didn't rhyme well with me in the beginning, and I still think it was a bad oud choice for the composition.

sounds promising. Will try to get my hands on it based on your words 👍Absolutely! I can't say I have anything bad to say about it! It's a mukhallat of several of the house's most prized ouds, from several regions, the majority being an aged Pursat, but also Sumbawa and Maroke oils as well as an old Hindi, if I'm not mistaken. Those are taken and fermented with musk and ambergris "clay", and after a period, first rate Ta'ifi rose is mixed in with an aged Shamamatul Amber and an additional, albeit smaller quantity of musk grains.
Starts off with a very cooling aroma, fresh crisp most likely from interaction of roses with certain ouds. There's a sweetness here, but it's very sophisticated, nothing pedestrian. As the scent settles on your skin it envelops you in a scent bubble. As it continues to dry down you start to feel the warming resinous aspects of the ouds come out, and in the dry down, the unmistakable scent of deer musk. Very easy to love, but for the connoisseur there's a fair bit of depth here.
What drew me to the composition were the videos on Maysam Co's YouTube channel and the effort I saw from Abu Khalid, the head of the company in reviving traditional Arabic fragrances. Giving people a mukhallat that's rested in Deer Musk and Ambergris at this price is no small feat.

oh and when new collections will be available? I can see mostly items are already sold out online.
Every time you mention this attar, the more curious I get!Ajmal AAA Musk Gazelle purchased from Zahra's back when that was a thing.
Note that this is the AAA not the legendary beast mode AA. It was also purchased a fair length of time after the other one became famous.
It's much sweeter than the AA - a very sweet "black musk" and slightly floral faint wintergreen(?) violet spicy accord in the opening, and the muskiness becomes more pronounced over time until it's actually quite musky by the time it settles down. Definitely brings the old AA gazelle to mind but is more restrained and balanced. The accord after the initial notes have evaporated is appealing though too sweet and complex for my tastes. I have no idea to what degree actual musk is part of this attar but it smells like it contains a fair amount, also maybe castoreum, along with the sweet resinous materials. I don't know whether Ajmal would use substitutes like l-muscone in perfume like this... the smell is complex enough to confuse my nose so I'm not sure what I'm smelling
Respected SaudalhajriJust received a sample pack from respected brother @Rai Munir

Where do I begin? The whole collection needs a month to test and review. The blends sound simple from the ingredients however they all smell like they’re made by a master perfumer as expected, everything is perfectly balanced to show the beauty of each ingredient, and the musk attars all have a good dose of musk which I absolutely love. Especially the neroli musk, the patchouli musk which I have on my wrist right now , and the orris musk which I adore.
Cuir Soltan is also a scent I loved, a beautiful deep leather, musky sweet dark leather with a little sour note to my nose which was surprising, because I never smelled a leather perfume with a sour note, this opened a new door for me.
I’ll review the rest later with more detail inshallah. Overall and to keep things short and bring a close to the mind comparison: if respected the blends brother’s @An Najwa were To be worn by kings and princes, the blends of MOSAFIR are suitable to a Zahid or a hermit living in the mountains meditating, or a seeker of knowledge roaming the earth solo. Not to say one is better than the other god forbid, but that each have their own touch in their creation, and their own effect on me.
I don’t like to self depreciate but trying blends like this from master perfumers really puts it in perspective and humbles me, and reminds me that I have a very long way in my journey.
Many thanks, respected Shiningrobes. After a pretty long time, I could manage shipping abroad. Mostly, I remain silent as THE FRAGRANCE SPEAKS SILENTLY.I can’t wait to hear your reviews. Of any one person whose offerings I want to try his are at the top. I follow his instagram and dream of getting to try some, especially the orris and patchouli musks. I so wish I lived in a country he could ship to, although I probably would have to live in a cave in the mountains because I’m sure that’s where all my money would go.
