Today I spent the whole day with
Euphoria by Tyson. The first thing that is fully evident in this blend is unique quality of ingredients- Santal Mysore, Vintage Ambergris, and Frangipani. If there were not this particular Santal, this blend would've not this much vibrant aura. Yes, AURA of this blend is like vertical journey when a mystic is totally lost during meditation. Santal notes are not disintegrated and scattered in woody, buttery and citrusy shades. It is just Mysore Santal. Frangipani as such is the fragrance that cannot be equated with any other aroma. Therefore, it has instilled novelty into the blend. Neither too strong nor too light is the hallmark of Frangipani. Neither citrus-y spicy nor sweet floral-y. Otherwise, floral oils mostly lack what the flowers exhibit. But, here in this Frangipani oil- hydro-distilled- the oil is very near to the original scent of the flowers. BUT ONE THING that I noticed is: the aroma of Frangipani is not the aroma of fresh blooms, but dried flower one. So, there is one extra note that has dragged the blend to some spicy sphere, and a little bit away from the very nucleus of Frangipani. Ambergris- being extremely vintage- is not animal-ic or salty at all, but sweet and sweet and sweet. But it doesn't seem that Ambergris is fresh in the blend. Never. Rather it appears to be infused for ages. What a feel this Ambergris does emit.
This Frangipani stays forever. As it is fresh enough, the notes keep overlapping. It will take time to be an organic whole. Then it will be an 'attar'. Long lasting! These two words cannot do justice with the longevity of the blend. After 13 hours, the wrist smells sweet Santal. This sweetness is what has been injected by Ambergris. And it is loud sweetness. It had to be controlled, or better say a balanced one.
Plumeri (Frangipani) is so beautiful. Jasmine might been be queen of flowers, and Rose the scent of scents. But Frangipani is like another orbit where there is different time and space. Thank goodness, it is not an absolute of Frangipani, but an oil.
If someone wants to register some unique fragrance, Euphoria is here to actualize it.
What this blend lacks: Fresh Frangipani scent, and the scent of the Frangipani belongs to the Subcontinent. I don't know whether the fresh blooms can be distilled or not. If it can be, it has to be done. Second, coloured flowers or the flowers of some cold areas do not smell that much mesmerizing. Last day, I plucked fresh blooms, kept the empty vials (having 0.12 ml, pure Frangipani oil, approximately) and the vial of Euphoria. Sniffed again and again.
Thank you, Tyson, for this blend, and making me acquire the outcome of perfect and truly pure ingredients, and on this price.
Sorry to upload again the picture of Frangipani flowers.
