Sanai Philipinos.

Got this knowing that it is a sanai. and I'm quite surprised by how good it smells.
the sweet aroma is dominant but there's some floral quality to it.

the way it oozes out of the resin is different from the real one, but I would not be able to tell it is a sanai if I didn't know. the scent is very deceiving and makes me scratch my head.

hmm, it's quite an experience, to say the least.

Sanai? This is not a term I have heard before can you elaborate?

Well, Sanai is a term I first heard from Rahel of OudBase. it's not the term he invented. btw,
I'm not 100% sure of its definition, with that said, Sanai is ouds injected with resins and other aromatics.
what separates sanai from fake oud is, that sanai sellers, mostly in Middle East, I guess, tell you when they're selling sanais. sanais are different from painted ouds from Indonesia, India, and Vietnam.

if anyone here knows more about Sanai, please chime in.
as I don't want to spread false information in the already confusing oud industry.

I respect so much honest descriptions. Nothing wrong with Sanai, only the people who sell it without mentioning what it is.
