Shall we all group-hug? 🤗

Sometimes I just go for it and put a big'ol chunk of somethin'. This morning it's Nha Trang from Jing. Smell is great, don't get me wrong, it's just not as enjoyable as a 25$g piece of sinking wood to me.

[Ouddict.com] Burn of the Day

I couldn't burn/heat any aromatics for the last two weeks because my DIY subitism burner is broken... 😥
so I'm using an essential oil warmer today instead. 😆

Kua myrrh, from Apothecary Garden.

I really like this type of myrrh. it's really musky, sweet, and slightly bitter.
makes me feel blissful.

NK Sizuro Vietnamese

Tonight I started low and slow,
an awesome sweet honey fruity floral aroma that had similarities to
IO’s Super Hoi An oud oil.

Then I turned up the heat and filled my room.
man everytime you heat this stuff got me impatient to try it haha! my order will reach me in about 10-15days because there are other orders being processed. I do not usually buy such cheap woods, but this one looked good so my curiosity is going mad.

One of the Yukitsuki Hana Collection kyaras that I won at the auction named “White Egret”.

So I am waiting for my new magnolia heater to arrive so I heated about .01 of this on the stove on the lowest heat. This kinam so old that the oil has literally crystallized. Explosive and long lasting bliss that makes me so happy and excited to a point that imagining having lost this auction feels like automatic depression, nightmare and chaos that is cured also automatically by realizing I did not lose the auction lol It is a crazy one and I can not believe how much more charming it becomes every time I open the vial and when I heat. True gem of spicy sweet and it has become top 5

What a magical thing and feeling to have pieces like this.

NK Sizuro Borneo

Today’s piece smelled nice and fragrant,
but I think the profile is more Brunei.

Short break……
Next up,
Shoyeido mini agarwood chips (kozutsu)
5 pieces on low, reminds me of a refreshing scent of pineapple, passion fruit, fragrant orchid, and
Prince Matchabelli Wind Song😄😄
Higher heat and it’s resiny and oudy.

Heating a lot of different Vietnamese woods from Nah Trang
Comparing them to each other and seeing how long each will release scent before smelling burnt or to woody.
I’m heating sinking shavings and comparing the scent to the chips .
Lots of fun and a learning experience.

Lowest grade non sinking Indonesian bunk wood!!!! Cause I don't discriminate!! Smells like a fireplace and it's not even winter yet!! Memories! And now to open the windows.......
If you don't discriminate, did you burn 0.005 gms of it and sniff it deeply, with the usual nose cleansing ritual beforehand though? 😆

Malaysian Chip from ASO

Some spice, bitter herbs, a slight cola syrup, a little floral perfume unique to Malaysian agarwood, oudiness, seed oil,
and mind buzz.

Medium to high heat for best results.
The resin is almost glass hard.
The profile has facets that I smelled in several Malaysian oud oils.
