Half of these Kalimantan Kizami granules
turn black in their own resin, but the other half doesn’t and probably contributes very little to the aroma, if anything, they add the woodiness.
But then my whole room is filled with the perfume from this region; for this reason, it is a worthy agarwood for heating.

Got a new iPhone the other day and decided to do some porn with one of my most cherished Kinams, the type with rare and potent notes that make me feel that I would be lost without it and it is about that time to heat a couple shavings on the stove. It lasts forever and even at high temps the aroma is extremely perfumy. It does not leave residue on the mica even tho it is hard as a rock! Potent room fumigation even with .03g

Now this is the kinam that showed me what true museum grade Vietnamese white kinam is and what my whole search for three years now was all about! This is my #2 favorite in my collection. To this day still nothing but one other come close to how rich, charming and magical to the mind these are. It was the long piece at first purchase and soon after I had bought 1.4grams from the same source which was very very good but nothing close and recently discovered that there was an identical piece aromatically speaking there and it is the piece next to the longer one. Those tiny chunks are about .55g and 1cm long is the longer one. They literally are soft like butter, I mean literally no wood fiber you can slice with a razor ridiculously easy going against the fibers and it is quite pliable. The aroma is this GORGEOUS white flower zingy electricity that has me repeating the same shock over and over. I feel extremely blessed for these. I know this thread is about heating and well I am heating these in my mind at the moment in memory and it really is satisfying. Diamonds

But dreaming aside, it is so amazing how some kinam can smell so wonderful as the pieces you have. Almost unbelievable isn’t it?

I imagined this before, having a kg chunk of this kinam feels like the biggest treasure in the world. Honestly if I had the chance at 2kg of pure gold or one kg of this kinam I would EASILY chose the kinam, even tho this would be a bad decision I am sure, but honestly OMG man a kg of this feels like the craziest personal dream of them all
