Breaking up some small pieces of the dark body round leaf kyara cultivar on a sandlwood block I’ve decided to use as a chopping block going forward. I like this particular form of the cultivated kyara.

Start the morning off with a few shavings of Black Shin Kyara - Kangiiten. It’s my favourite of the 4 colours, nicely sweet / vanillic, quite Kinamic in the top note - minty / sparkling / floral.

Some sinking Indonesian that smells great but not sure exactly where it’s from.
I got it as a part of a deal gone bad from an Instagram seller,🤦🏻‍♂️. I never blind buy from these guys because it’s always been a bad experience and after a few years of no Instagram buys I did it and I’m so sorry I did .
Poor quality wood that was moist when it arrived and lost half its weight 🤦🏻‍♂️
The seller did resend some crazy amazing sinking wood to make up for it but overall it wasn’t a good experience and I honestly won’t ever give any of the Instagram sellers any of my money snd I would also expect yes expect this seller who is also a distiller of cutting his oils . I can’t honestly think of one reason he doesn’t 🤷🏻‍♂️

3 types of sandalwood with some cultivated sinking kinam mixed in the low temp heater
Seems to be the best Heater for sandalwood without much burnt wood/popcorn smell , the kinam puts it over the top
last a long time and scents the room of sandalwood really nicely

Relaxing after work with a small piece of Sinking Adam’s Peak - Royal Bengal Ouds, that I dug out from a bag of samples. My first time heating Walla Patta.
Stunning oceanic mineral notes & green freshness off the top, very attractive profile. Becomes sweeter, more resinous, date / tamarind the longer it sits on the heater.

I keep fanning the aroma towards me
to capture all the scent.
