extremely fragrant in bottle, on heater unique sourness and sweetness, elegant Pristine milky note not dense as purple kyaras i have, sea breeze "not fishy one", bitter tinge, cool and refreshing
wood have pristine notes over all, and does greatly at low and high heat.

very finely grounded, it can pass through 0.15mm sieve quickly.
although it is Santalum Spicatum, not Santalum Album, it smells very nice.
not as creamy as Santalum Album, it has that classic sweet, milky sweetness of sandalwood.
and it also carries a bit of lemony, citrusy scent.

it's much, much better than I expected. highly recommended.

Nice aroma with an interesting perfume up top (on low). I’d heat it more often but rationing is in order since I have less than 10 grams.

Red Baram from Ensar Oud.
A simple, but piercing fragrance that is like a slightly bitter Malinau with icing from a spiced Christmas cookie.

Tarakan from the ATTAR STORE. Just not pleasant. A pretty wood but dusty, this specimen, no depth or personality. Usually Hamza sells mostly great stuff but this sucks. I bought some "Tarakan" as well from The Tea Guru. It looks exactly the same, hopefully not. Haven't tried it yet. I'm hoping my nose is shot and that my brain has encephalitis. Then tomorrow or next week when my brain swelling stops and shrinks back to the normal size, I might try it again to find it has miraculously transformed and aged like an oud over time improved, into a tolerable wood chip.

Everytine I read bro @iori posts on heat of the day I end up heating the things he talks about lol in particular this iron oil! Brother described it perfectly! I’m so grateful to have this 1.65g chunk! It’s crazy with kyara so many pieces take away your attention when you have them and completely forget how other pieces smell then you visit and are blown away again and in love. the iron oil which I thought was a purple but definitely different than other purple I have is to me like a kyara if it was a smelly crystal, has Chinese vibes but also super high grade nha Trang vibes all in the unmistaken kyara backbone!

I love spicatum! In a stick, it lays down a classic, sweet, sandalwood vibe even if the top notes are quite different from the Mysore. I feel like I smell this species in aggarbathis and is is well suited for it.
