I’ve got some CK chips on the subitism, but since I am just past the peak of a mild head cold, it smells like pretty much nothing at all. Haven’t had a cold/flu in years…

I was burning some maroke and hindi wood I got from a golf vendor the last week. Very disappointing experience to be honest. Some piece are just wood with no significant oud smell and some had a plastic smell (maybe painted or glued). But it was the cheapest option available
Then I scraped some viet antwood from @Maunamoku and heated it at 80°c and its such a satisfaction. I can only focus on the vanilla smell, I love it!

Ouddict helped me jump over all these commercial oud vendors and saved me a lot lot of money. Now when I try some oils and woods from them, I am just more grateful that I didnt have to spend my money there.

I love that ant wood from Maunamoku. Nice appetizing profile from top to bottom.

A glorious summer morning in Melbourne; sunny blue skies, birds singing, the promise of a new day….
After experiencing a few personal family issues last year, finally I feel blessed to wake up without sadness & stress. I took it for granted, now I’m truely grateful.

Shawq - ASO. Another favourite wood in my collection, the perfect Assamese profile. Tobacco, leather, resins, flowers, spice. After 15-20 mins sitting on the sub at low heat, the most delectable resinous vanillic-ambery note appears, creamy sweet. White florals, nutmeg, saddle leather, cigar tobacco, vanilla…..a complex beauty.

What's a good temp for this wood if you don't mind me asking?
