I’m ordering that heater from Miki at the end of the month hopefully. Any feedback on ease-of-use/shortcomings?Kalimantan bead scraps on the Subitism heater I just got in from Miki.
Im getting strong purple notes on this, which is wild considering all the other times I heated this on a different heater it just smelled a bit dusty.
I didn't realise she sold any wood other than CK? It's been a good while since I have messaged her. Does she have much of a range?Kalimantan bead scraps on the Subitism heater I just got in from Miki.

Wood isn’t from her, it’s from a guy on Etsy. Sorry for the confusion.I didn't realise she sold any wood other than CK? It's been a good while since I have messaged her. Does she have much of a range?
I like it a lot but any subitism will yield pretty similar results.I’m ordering that heater from Miki at the end of the month hopefully. Any feedback on ease-of-use/shortcomings?
I like mine a lot as well, mostly for the aesthetics. It has the voltage adapter positioned inside the unit which is really nice. The dial is marked with temperatures, but I don't pay too much attention to it. I've learned to just trust my nose and set it by smell. Though I think it's likely in the ballpark. Hope that helps.I’m ordering that heater from Miki at the end of the month hopefully. Any feedback on ease-of-use/shortcomings?
Oh I see. You got the sub from her not the chips. 😎Wood isn’t from her, it’s from a guy on Etsy. Sorry for the confusion.

I wish I could post a video of this. The bubbling of the resin is unbelievable. It’s morning time and my wife doesn’t like Bakhoori on coals in the morning. So this is the work-aroundFawn Horn - Vietnamese Oud Platelets
I’m burning this piece on the sub. I usually burn the bigger pieces on coal. But this is a better experience and more bang for buck. It’s sweet, resinous, and aromatic with notes of Smokey spice and vanilla.

It is amazing isn't it? AND it is going to even get better. In China they now have plantations where they are allowing the trees to grow older before and after the wounding process.
In Japan they are working on growing/cloning/nurturing Kyara call it what you will. Sometimes I ask myself the question, the constant flow of Kyara at Japanese auctions, where is it coming from? Considering it was a resource that for all practical purposes has been depleted from the wild jungle sources sometime ago. The ones at auctions mostly appear in these perfect shapes, a bit like those square watermelons that the Japanese cultivate.
I guess the end of oud theory has taken a full turn on its head.
