Kangiiten - Ambergris Souked Aloes. Really speechless with this granulated incense powder. Never have I had such a deep scent come from so little heat. Heavy resin notes come first and quickly but then it's like you've had your head dunked into the ocean. The ambergris is strong! Not funky or overwhelming though. This is such a novel idea. Somehow KZ has created a perfume within an incense. Really incredible.
Shoyeido had / has an ambergris infused chip blend but I think to get it with real ambergris you have to buy it in Japan. I think OG shi-un had a fair amount of ambergris but when I bought some in the United States it had some kind of a replacement or substitute, clearly, based on the aroma.

I guess, technically it wouldn't be difficult to reproduce? If you had something to gently melt the ambergris and then throw in your medium of choice, give it a good stir and remove from the heat. I'm sure there's more to it but that's probably the gist of it.

Kyara - Green, Medicinal, Floral

Smelling the wood and oud available here definitely feels like a work out. Been trying to train my nose a bit but, it's tough. I wish time and material was unlimited.

Fawn Horn - Vietnamese Platelets

Notes of resin, saffron, peppercorns , and a sweet note.

SMoud - Sinking Grade Oud from Assam Region

One of the most beautiful scents I’ve ever smelled off of Agarwood. It’s full of resinous oil. Smells sweet and spicy. It’s very deep and meditative. I’ll definitely be getting this again.

Description says these are from a distillation, did I read that right?
I see what you're saying now. It says this is from his family's distillation. Probably means distillery and not distilled/spent agarwood. In any case, I've messaged him to find out.

Edit: He said this is agarwood AFTER distillation. I didn't even believe this is possible. He even says he has another kind that he will post later this week.

I did enjoy the burn though. Would love some feedback from those in the know. Is this common? @Mr.P

I have definitely heard stories of folks using the spent wood as an incense base. I've tried heating some of the post extraction chips from my own experiments, in this case solvent extraction not distillation, and they do have a nice mild sweet woody aroma (but would be very disappointing if you paid for it as oud).

i have heard spent wood is used as a base to which you would add some amount of good quality wood or perhaps oils or resin or whatever the recipe calls for.

Little unclear on the context here I need to catch up on the thread - are we talking incense sticks or wood chips? I've never heard of post distillation wood chips being sold as incense but I suppose you could add oils it would be a kind of bakhoor.
