Burn of the Day

[Oudamberlove]

its not really the aroma thats the problem, its the feeling. i heated some good stuff but was way too much and the whole house saturated lol so it hit bad, felt like it was completely chemical

I concur, ck does smell nice and captures some Kyara likeness, but it’s the feeling I get where it rubs me the wrong way.

Habzoud - Sinking Sri Lankan - Enjoying a moment of calm during the busy holiday period with this impressive wood. So much going on, forces you to take a moment to listen. @Habz786 - Stunning.

Habzoud - some sinking chips (I can’t remember where from)
Because I am an early riser, I decided to burn a piece of Habz’ sinking chips in the study room. When hubby woke up and entered the room he asked what this heavenly smell was. Such a good way to start the holiday season!

[Oudamberlove]

Gyokushodo #422 Vietnamese Kizami

Heated to enjoy, but turned off the heat to complete a chore, came back to it, turned on the heat, and I got some facets of kyara.
I absolutely love good Vietnamese oudh🥰

[mobyus]

Today’s piece is Tarakan
Lovely🥰

[Olfactory Nomad]

Old Papuan soil wood - Yusa Aromatics Taiwanese collection.
The menthol in this is crazy strong! Doesn't take much to get it going. It's almost like I have my nose stuck in a tin of peppermints.

[Oudamberlove]

Shoyeido Matsu Square

From the oldest batch that I have.

A lovely profile with a uniqueness.

Nippon Kodo Sizuro Vietnamese

Heating Vietnamese oudh is always a special session🥰

Burning some of this myself right now. Really good stuff.

Same here tonight. It’s probably my favourite of all the woods I have with me right now. No fickleness or messing about with the temperature - just throw a few crumbs on the heater and enjoy.
