Started the day with some Black Omani frank from RP, then moved to IO ‘70’s Sandalwood for lunchtime, now onto some agarwood heating. I have been heating wood and resin, swiping oil and burning incense daily. I’ve been holding off from visiting here too much trying to save $ and it’s super tough if I’m checking things out too often. I don’t have the strength and self control just yet, but I’m getting there!

green cultivated kinam
I been heating this a lot lately, just an amazing scent so unlike any other wood and it just keeps putting out smoke trails and poofs of scent for way longer then any other wood I’ve ever had. Very consistent in its sent from the first 5 min to the last 40 minutes. CRAZY
I hope shipping starts moving again from the source of this wood before I run out.
Got my fingers crossed and a large order placed

No I got this cultivated kinam from a different plantation in China that is not quite as old as kevin’s but has great potential as they use only “Hot drill “methods and zero inoculate. I’m working out import deal on the cultivated kinam to use as an oil source for distillation and will start offering the best of what I get to fellow Ouddicts at an incredible deal so stay tuned because Olefaktory will be selling sinking and non sinking cultivated kinam as soon as I can start receiving packages from China again

Count me in when it released. 🙄

Tarakan Vintage by Imperial Oud. A lovely scent, I must be burning less than 0.1g, because I had to try and shave a bit off and didn't get the whole piece off that I was trying to cut.

I gotta say though, I've rarely used. most of the ouds I have which are large solid chunks (some 'babyking logs', EO Bois d'Iris, EO Port Moresby Prive). It's easier to snap a bit off a chip or if it's super dense then to saw through it enough so that a piece breaks off.

BUUT perhaps I just need to not be so lazy and to put in a bit of effort! However it'd need to be sawed through = dust wastage, they're too thick to chisel

That’s a lot of myoho to burn in one go! The super hoi an’s dry down reminds me of these shoyeido premium sticks...
