I have been looking for good Sidr honey in US, any pointers. I can imagine how great saffron tasted with honey or in milk. Never tried black seed either honey or milk, Inshaa Allah I will make some of this
Not sure where it’s sold in the US or even if it is sold, it’s already hard to find in the Middle East. At least the good stuff. I personally get it from an apiary owned by a local.
It tastes very balanced, not too sweet like commercial honeys, it’s deep and complex with deep floral, woody, almost Smokey with hints of dried fruits and florals. Really nice for the winter and tastes very nice by its own as it’s not cloying sweet.
I wouldn’t recommend using it in this blend, you’re better off using British wildflower or orange blossom honey for its brighter lighter taste, sidr honey already has too much going on and adding black seed especially can tip it to becoming bitter.

beef jerky! black pepper, garlic, salt, and i used my wood grinder to powder some cherry wood, and now its smoking in my dehydrator!

You can find it on Amazon, of course 🙂 There are a lot of different types and brands of Sidr honey. I'm not familiar with it so can't judge. But honey, domestic and international, is very popular on Amazon and it tends to have a good selection of many different types.

dude. have you tried milk with a dash of turkish coffee?
I do this quite often, or a cheat versus of it! Take a third of a teaspoon of instant espresso powder, and mix it into heated milk, sometimes with 6 - 7 threads of saffron, stir vigorously, delectable!

I'm contemplating trying to make some of brother @Saudalhajri 's Black Seed and Saffron infused Sidr honey, to go with this warm milk. Though sometimes I think I should just skip all this and end up making mahalabiyeh 😅 taking away any pretense of it being healthy.

Preparing حمسة hamsah for Ramadan, it’s carmalized almost burnt onions, tomatoes, garlic and chilli.
It’ll then be blended and frozen in portions. This is used in almost all big main meals.

Freshly ground Kashmir chilli. In real life it’s a much more vibrant bright red, very spicy and smells really good!
