Smells so Oud
Last night I burnt a Premium Deluxe White Kynam Nha Trang stick from The Agarwood shop. Very sweet and woody. I could have eaten every little waft of smoke that came up to me.
Did you try his Nirvana? Ingredients are the same minus the borneol note. I'd be curious for a comparison if you have.Doc’s Lokuttara
This is spicy warmth done right. It’s interesting how deer musk presents itself in a blend when combusted. The ambergris combo is also lovely. Just an overall incredible stick.
Is he still selling nowadays?A different Jayapura from MTN Incense than the last stick I burned from him. This one is sinking grade with a monkoh profile. The stick burns at low, gentle heat, "soft florals, intoxicating". The smoke quantity is ideal. The texture and aroma of the smoke are both resplendent. Big and bold, at the same time refined and composed.
Bliss; paired with a savory Taiwanese Dong Ding oolong.
Yes, he says there is a new release coming soon. It will likely have some very special itemsIs he still selling nowadays?
Ohhh, I need to give this a try from the way you describe it, sounds great!!!Siberian cedar resin from Apothecary's garden
ethereal, pine-y, ozone, cold, woody, sweet. reminds me of clean winter forest air.
the cleansing effect is very strong.

Actually, thanks for reminding me to try that. The maker did suggest that to me when I first got them that I could do that first and then burn after. Unfortunately these are only sample sticks of which I have one only of each so that ones gone for good. I'll try it with the others I have. You could always try grinding it up or putting small pieces on a subitism
If that is the heater I have, I usually do the lowest green setting. Just releasing scent not burning. Better for longevity. Can I ask "how" do you use your ceramic heater for resin? I have one but rarely use it for resin as I seem to always need to crank the heat up really high to get anything to melt and even then it takes a while. Is this normal? What's an average temp for melting frankincense? It shouldn't need to be so hot should it?
