Funny misunderstanding. Shirakawa Asahi is matcha from Kettl. I haven't tried many of the Horin line, but generally enjoy most Shoyeido. How is Shirakawa by Shoyeido's Horin Line?

Was my first burn of 2024 on New Year's Day! A fine stick, indeed!Dr. Incense, "Processed Sinking Brunei, Kynam Version". Paired with a rather large bowl of Horii Shichimeien's Narino matcha, accompanied by a gaiwan of Dong Ding. Holographic aroma: I am lost in a field of marigold, my head is full of flowers. Black and violet notes; kaleidoscopic.
Thats an interesting approach (adding oud oil to the oud incense).Dr. Incense, “Processed Cambodia“ (with oil added).
Very different from his normal sticks, the entire profile of aroma and texture is changed. It is as if the frequency has been altered. I look forward to sitting with these again and formulating a better description soon.
I wonder what Adam's sticks were like. My source of agarwood in the UK got taught about oud by Russian Adam!!!Thats an interesting approach (adding oud oil to the oud incense).
Russian Adam did it with the new Russian Oud 2 too
