Oud of the Day

Y'know... its funny, I see UK Fayre and US Fayre... there should be a Malaysia Fayre. 😀
I'm a half-decent cook and really enjoy making Malaysian food (just made 4 dishes earlier today hehe), so I could do the 'catering' if there was a Malaysia Fayre. Plus, there could be a poll about country+grade+style/genre, and Adam's just a stone's throw away, so maybe he and I could do a live oud cooking for live entertainment – while the Asam Pedas and Sambal Okra bubble in the kitchen.

I would definitely come to a Malaysian Fayre (sort of close to Melbourne😎 ) especially if i got to see Taha and Adam oud cooking
oh and my OOTD is Sabah Begining FO

The Oud today is Ceylon Royale. With some aging I feel his oil is going to be a guaranteed salve for my soul. Already it is so pure and crystalline.

The other scent of the day was made for me by my friend G who works at the Frankincense Store in London, a blend of Bhuta Patala from Ensar, an extremely high quality frankincense essential oil, excellent myrrh essential oil and amber. A truly sacred smell made by a friend in fragrance. I had the great happiness of introducing him to oud, which he very much took too, and later he created this gift for me.

I was sure about it. And don't you see what Hindi has done within a couple of days? Thrill. Panic. Passion. Curiosity. Zest. Since the day, I read respected Rasoul's review, when I get online, I just go for some reviews about Hindustan 1. I never read about non-Hindi oils.
But, yes, if I found someone writing about some Musk attars.

It’s has a very nice profile, and a very polite price
I believe I paid under $150 for 6ml

From left to right:
Double Super, Premium Hindi, Double Super (from 5 years ago), and Haflong

When I first got the DS 5 years ago, it was very caramelicious. Now, it’s chocolate and tobacco

The DS and Haflong are barny

PH has very little barn, and I’m going out on a limb to say the profile is not too far from Meghalaya, or rather, in between Meghalaya and Assam.

yes this are nice, I have Double Super, Premium Hindi and haflong few different batches from each one.
