Oud of the Day

Al Hashimi Akkad

Initially has an overtone of perfume...
then there’s quite a progression from a chocolate tobacco classic oudy roast, to a Malaysian super king and cola, and a second half that’s super addicting
.......just think candy, resin, wood, oud, plus to come full circle...more perfume. I even got a facet of a beautiful Hindi oil....and it’s from the Philippines 😱
How’d they pull a rabbit out of that hat😀
I’m into wood lately, but this oil is tempting me:Thumbsup:

Al Hashimi Lindaraja
A tope note-ish beauty, with a Bornean vibe.
My first impression is Pure Perfume! and that’s before I read the description.
I’m not a big fan of top notes that have a fresh from the distillation pot smell. Luckily, not here with Lindaraja.

I fail miserably........that said, I am training my nose to be more discerning at picking out these different notes....
I shall endeavor to move on from my present description of any Oudh I wear...as...'Ah that is heavenly'
I shall improve brothers and sisters...🙂
 
Next up in my new assortment of goodies, Super Hoi An. Wearing this oil for the first time, I very much enjoy its gentle aura. I get a slight smoke over a subtle creamy milky-sweet. I can feel that the soak/fermentation lent this wood some character, but did not overpower its understated beauty.

Enjoy it as is! words can't contain what we feel from ouds. 'Ah that is heavenly' is more than enough. :Roflmao:
 
Today in work I am using a Cambodian Oudh on my mask. It's name I shall look up as I have transferred a small drop into a vile owing to my ward having potential SARS-Cov2 patients. So I leave it here in my locker. It has little barn scent and more floral with, to me, seems like a hint of gasoline. It last for hours and makes some of my work (patient cleaning when bowels have opened) more bearable... As I write some hints of fruit coming through...

This is a Once in a life time OIL!!!

Even its young oil and not yet settled and yet unreleased. This is one oil you should surely get ur nose to اِ نْ شَآ ءَ اللّهُ soon [emoji4]
