I had the same thought! I brought Pursat Maliki and Al Janah 3 to my family gathering because they are good for non-ouddicts. But after some wine I feel a strong urge for barnyard Hindi...

Good to hear! Haven't had the oud session yet, will update. These 2 are what got me into pure oud oil, so hopefully they go down well.

Wearing some hoi an oud from IO and once again I am struck by how much complexity can be packed into the scent of a decent oud oil. Sometimes I get whiffs of musk, other times ambergris, hints of saffron, vanilla, honey, rich soil, old wood… how are so many scents packed into one oil. It’s a miracle of the biochemistry of decomposers and producers harmonizing and modifying each other

@Mr.P I love reading you reviews about Super Hoi An. I treasure my bottle and have yet to find an oil as complex as this. Someone compared the kinamic note in hoi an to an old unlreased Brunei oil by Ensar.
