Aroha Kayaku 2020 is beautiful and really something, put it on, and you are in for a ride. It's very long lasting as well and will keep you company in the fall, winter and summer evenings to keep you warm. It is dark and masculine, you will be transported to an old era of darkness between the 1800s and 1900s. If there was a movie to watch with this oud it would be Peaky Blinders. If there was a setting for this oud it would be a cigar lounge or a gentlemen's rugged club.

Nice dab if Jamaal from ASO. This is a complex multilayer scent - As it unfolds there are three or four different stages of overlap and present some really nice spicy and complex notes I haven't smelled in quite this way from wood from this region before. It's actually quite subtle at first It is quite intense and pungent - like a big wall of scent. Then these different layers unfold, about 4 waves of different oud scent. It smells clean and properly processed, no excess fermentation here...

Reading your post prompted me to put a dab of this on.
Such a lovely smokey initial note....this I really enjoy behind my mask at work...lasts for hours upon hours...
