Tyson Library: The samples I saved as benchmark. Five out of nine are of Santal oil. The one I placed upside down is frankincense, sandal and I get a light shade of vanilla in there. But my favourite one is Oud Santal co-distillation.

That wood looks dodgy similar to other dodgy looking very expensive wood ive seen recently....

did not buy it, i toke the pic inside shop 🙂 and i even burned it there
it was new shop with lots of oud boxes, hindi "all cultivated", sri lankan and philipino, none worth the money sadly

sadly local market here you see many of those in many shops, i mean take alrabiya and asaq shops here all ther wood 100% modified, same for other company who claim to sell mostly "malaysia oud" its all painted wood
you see many laughable stuff haha, whats good here honestly you can test before buying and some shops "rarely" let you hand pick wood even with burn 🙂
