in general mon-koh"Listening to incense" grade wood is way more expensive than soradaki 'Appreciating Incense' in japan and china.
high end Rikkoku woods from managa to sumandora goes for about 16500 yen for gram "talking about top grades" while
kyaras 20000 for shin and low grade to 55/100k for high end ones with some of historical pieces way higher than that.
in china is abit more expensive especially kinams "talking about high end ones", however they have lots of great wood, its just matter of finding good trusted seller to get you whats worth for what you paying for, because i seen many sell space prices for average pieces sadly..
nha trang, hainan, hk, guangdong, Pursat grade"baby kinam", fusen=Phước Sơn"its city in qunag nam province" red soil you can find from 80$ to over 1000$
brunei, tarakan and malinau is abit cheaper but not much also depends on its grade =)
while its much if you know how to heat it, small piece can last you long time.
in gulf which most of wood used for high heat "there is some mon-koh grade but you have to look and test them yourself" as they don't care about it..
prices maybe from um 15$ to around 1000-1500$ for 12 gram as its rarely you will see someone who would sell you by gram here.
there is many offerings in forums you can check them and im sure if you contact any of vendors here they would help you with what to pick.
have a good day
