Wrong color - it may smell great and it may be 100% from Sandalwood but it’s not pure essential oil - would have to be an extract if actually from sandalwood

I don’t know what that is but it’s not sandalwood essential oil (unless it was all squeezed out of some oxidized gelatin capsules lol). I know some of y’all don’t wanna hear it so go ahead and enjoy it for what it is I guess.
not all oil is light like mysore bro

You just keep telling yourself that… (the rest of you, don’t believe it)

I think you do, but just in case: do you understand the difference between an essential oil, an absolute, a resinoid, and a co2 extract?

When I weigh your words against those of Al Shareef and my own personal experience, how many years of experience are you drawing on for your knowledge? Have you ever worked for a business that bought and sold essential oils? How old were you when you got your first sandalwood oil and how old are you now?

marius jinko store ceylon sandalwood was DISTILLED lol and it was a beautiful rich orange - mid dark orange oil. thin like water and extremely potent top note oil. al shareef doesnt like to learn more than he already learned which is a bad thing in my book. you cant know everything in even 10 lifetimes and anyone who is closed minded and thinks they know it all is just blind. whatever the case its still love tho lol

https://hermitageoils.com/product/sandalwood-ceylon-red-1950-e-o/ <-----more FAKE sandalwood oil from very trusted and amazing website. man they all need to be taught. hey al where you at bro teach these fools bro hahaha

ps guys seriously im just having fun. no harm intended. i might sound arrogant but its just a fun play. yes mysore distilled sandalwood oil is light pale yellow to rich yellow....but not all sandalwood is this color and to think so is worthy of a ouddict troll beat down

I’m wearing sandalwood carbon dioxide select extract, high-grade from the older Eden botanicals, originating from Nisarga biotech in India. I had a copy of the GCMS on one of my hard drives - it was quite interesting.

This is a dry, woody, pungent sandalwood… intensity comparable to Vetiver, but classic Sandalwood aroma with various resinous and almost waxy notes. More like sticking your nose in a mason jar filled with sandalwood chips, than a swipe of essential oil…. A deep inhalation is rich, creamy delicious sandalwood all the way through. It doesn’t smell like saffron, but the dryness brings a certain aspect of the scent of saffron to mind.

This is peak Sandalwood for me, I have been looking for a supply of something like this for the last 10 years or so, but haven’t seen it anywhere. Guess this stuff goes in the vault!

lol if you dont like other opinions and dont want a repetitive stage on things why do you keep repeating the same things over and over i dont get it lol. you guys dellusional thinking sandalwood oil cant be orange its hilarious when many did it. no hate at all and nothing personal but we share our opinions on whats true and then you continue trying to impose your opinion and then when the other opinion comes back then you say we are on a repetitive stage lol you want the last word i dont have a problem lol say again how you and al shareef believe that sandalwood oil can not be orange, tell everyone to stay away from any sandalwood oil that is not pale yellow and yellow and i wont reply i promise LMAO whatever makes you both feel happier and in control i dont care hahaha but no matter what the truth is some sandalwood oil is orange and if you say its not then you are ignoring jinko store amazing ceylon sandalwood oil which was a very nice sandalwood oil.

These red oils are really fascinating. I assumed the other red oil, which was posted earlier and sourced from gelatin caps, had to have some interaction with the container, but this listing does seem to indicate that the color is perhaps a process of aging or source material.

I have a two oils from roots, one from sinking grade the other regular grade. The regular grade has much more color than the sinking grade. I am curious to know which parts of the tree they distilled or what causes the color.

Pssst…. Language scent: you might want to look into this sandalwood oil.

This is Ejays Sri Lanka sandalwood oil, to me it doesnt look yellow so to tell people that only yellow oil is real sandalwood oil is a bit off from being a fact, do you agree? I'm sorry if some of you were hurt by my words. The truth is words never touched me so I need to remember that not everyone is like me and words can hurt people. So I will apologize to mr p and al shareef, never meant to hurt any of you. Even if i read back and try to find what it was thay may have hurt either of you i probably will not realize what it was. so i will end the conversation by saying i learned that people take things to the heart very easy and that color is subjective to us all. some people see yellow others orange so i apologizing to you both again for any psychological damage i may have inflicted. regardless of any of this and of "words" you should know i respect you both.

Not sure what that is about but this is two of the three bottles of his Sri Lanka oil. Maybe that’s a batch I missed?

The Ceylon Red oil illustrates that these oils can be naturally colored. It is the second example of an old red oil shown this week. The question to address is why they are this color.
i just am saying that it is normal that some other than mysore oils have different color. thats all im stressing. especially if they are mixed with sandalwood absolutes or extracts.

This is very interesting. It appears that higher heat does result in different colored oil. I would not be surprised to learn that these vintage oils were distilled at high heat.
we will never know and thats ok, i just think its better to say we will never know then to say we know. now adays with the techs they have they get different oils.

"Sandalwood oil starts off clear and darkens over the course of the distillation , high pressure steam like what they do in 98% of the sandalwoods makes a clear oil , with hydro distilling its more likely to turn darker."

It would be possible to try multiple small distillations using different heat variables. Although variables of scale would be more difficult and costly.

Perhaps Ed has also seen other colors produced. The hue of orange in the photograph is really fascinating.
