Never got to share my latest @Maunamoku additions a few weeks ago due to being hospitalized for a week a few days after receiving them & then of course totally forgetting afterward.

What a mail day! Full sampler set from the big boss Mehmet came in, shipped ridiculously quick from Turkey to the U.S. Spoiled for choice on Oud oils to test and study for the foreseeable future. This will be my first introduction to many regions, distillations, and species of oils and will be trying my best to give my amateur reviews on them.

P.S. if anyone has some good storage solutions for smaller samples I think I’m in desperate need😅

On top of that received the White Dragon spray from Eric at House of Heartistry! A metric fuckton of different Kinam/Kyara distillations and tinctures added to four different sandalwoods, Himalayan Musk and many more notes I couldn’t possibly list. Added a pic of the composition details in case y’all were interested. Sprayed some on tonight and it’s beautiful.

Mini review on it being my first experience with any Kinam/kyara, cultivated or wild. Started off with a sweet milky creaminess, slightly salty like a really clean white ambergris root beer note. Very quickly I got slightly smoky incense, menthol, grapes, gardenias. Slightly reminds me of Creme de la Creme from Russian Adam in its salty sparkly creaminess, but those notes get put through a Kinam kaleidoscope. Menthol cooling with white grape tartness. Refreshing florals and smoky incense. I think I see what all the Kinam hype is based on now😅

That piece of CK looks really nice.

My mesOUD order came, woo. The Bulugan is great, have it on right now. The Trat Borai smells amazing too, never tried a Thai Crassna before, so cant wait to wait that probably tomorrow or later tonight, but most likely tomorrow with fresh nose.

Hell yeah man! I got the Trat Classic on right now, such a lovely soaked Thai profile. We’re blessed to have mehmet and the other generous distillers in this community

Dope bro ! Bulungan is probably the one I recommend most to anyone copping from Mehmet. The transition is nuts , it starts off green/fresh soil/petrichor with a touch of sweetness & transitions into an ethereal fruity petrichor , very similar to a Silani , 10/10. Enjoy those !

Yep, I got those notes too, and very citrusy, with tons of different citrus fruits, then about an hour in everything becomes more well rounded and softens, and you get some citrus cola notes and red fruity cola. Very sweet, and sour too, but the longer it goes on it becomes more sweet. I also pick up some fresh linen and some clean, fresh, summer florals.

To keep the @mesOUD theme going I just received my package today after some back and forward tennis by TNT distribution going from one centre to another.
I would swear at one point yesterday it was so close I could smell the package.
Anyway all good things come to those with patiences.

I was lucky enough to get one of those sticks as a sample with my last order. Those are very convenient and will fill a space with heavy oud scent in a jiffy

I'll also continue the @mesOUD theme. This just arrived ! I'll get into details in another post about how special this package is & why I feel so honored to have 2 of these very special oils in my possession. HUGE Shoutout to my brother Mehmet ! One of the most kindest & generous ppl I've connected with in this community , appreciate you 🖤

You honored me with your warm words brother
İ hope you enjoy all❤️❤️

Mesoud definitely makes you feel valued as a customer!

it's the little things that matter sometimes that we forget to appreciate. I've had 100% positive experiences with every order i have made from everyone here and at PSH, eden, liberty, white lotus etc..

I was shipped the wrong product recently by a vendor (not associated with ouddict), and the time and energy required to correct this is starting to exceed the value of the product, if we assume my time is worth anything. If it wasn't an item in excess of $100 in value I probably would just say screw it and take the loss and just pay to get the correct thing shipped...

The wrong package arrived monday. I get the return paperwork emailed to me today... it might've come eventually but after four days of nothing showing up I had to email them to remind them. Nobody answered my email so I emailed somebody else. I have to return the product before I will be shipped what I ordered, the courier DHL cannot come by for another couple of days and requires me to be present with an open package for inspection, and has given me a nine hour window during which I'm supposed to be available. The nearest drop off point is an hour drive away.

I understand the dilemma – I could be a scammer trying to get free oil (both what I ordered and what i was sent by mistake is about $150) and it's always easy to judge somebody's actions from the outside.

On a certain level it's just bad luck - if I lived around the corner from a DHL drop point this would've been a piece of cake other than the delay. In their mind this is probably a speedy resolution so I'm not going to mention the company... I mean this is a first world problem if ever there was one haha and I will certainly continue to order from this vendor as long as it doesn't repeat

I just needed to vent and back to my main point: I appreciate all the effort that vendors make to make sure everything goes smoothly for customers. Definitely started taking it for granted. It is crazy in the best sense of the word how over the top some (all?) of our vendors here are when it comes to making their customers feel respected.

Also for double checking what you ship 🙂

The amount of generosity I’ve received in such little time from the vendors on here and others represented on here positively has been quite overwhelming! Too many to name but I’ve never encountered such humble, respectful, hardworking, kind and approachable folks in any other niche community
