Hey guys , I was thinking about sampling some oils from E-oud/Fushigi & was wondering if their distillations are really comparable to Ensar's oriscents ?

& yes I know they allegedly distilled for Ensar that's why I'm asking. I've skimmed through some of the past threads about the different theories & speculations behind this subject.

I'm only curious about the oils , how they compare to oriscents & whatever else you care to share about their oils , thank you.
I can speak for Fushigi.
It's for sure comparable, and even sometimes superior, this is not my opinion only, also a friend with good knowledge in AA and EO high end oud oils second this.

In the end, oud is oud, and marketing and buzz is marketing and buzz

Personally I have tested certain fushigi oils and I know the oriscent oils from 2005/2010 well and the oriscent oils are far superior.

I read on the forum that Oriscent's Kyara Kountan was identical to Fushigi's Hainan, which is not true in my humble opinion.
The kyara kountan was much deeper and stronger.
When it dried, it left a wonderful smell that you don't find in fushigi.

Second, most fushigi oils have been distilled recently unlike older oriscent oils.

Then if you're talking about the new cheap ensar oils, maybe I don't know them.

But when we see the royal kinam, kyara ltd, Bornéo sheikh and all these oils which have made the reputation of Ensar we really cannot say that the fushigi oils arrive at this level and from very far behind.

However, these remain beautiful Taiwanese type oils and for what is on the market these days it is rare to have this quality.

Got 2g of brother Ali’s “Revolutionary” green silani Oud and 3g of his silani santal. He’s been incredibly generous as everyone else that’s dealt with his has mentioned! A pleasure to communicate with and incredibly hardworking man, can’t wait to see what the hype on the Sri Lankan oud is all about. Currently on hold in Germany, but hopefully will be cleared to go and arriving this week!

thank you for replying : )
at the end of the day it is all about taste, my favorite oils can be your leqst favorite ones and so on.
I liked the fushigi oils except Hainan, which is the best oil ever to Brandon, so there is that. I learned with time that there is no such thing like the best and the first, all of these terms are misleading descriptions, and all of the descriptions are proportional.

Completely agree on the principle of relativity of tastes.

There are common quality criteria for all oils even if you don't necessarily like this or that oil....but there is also and mainly the taste factor.

Like me, I really liked Hainan hahaha.

I feel like you’ve been wearing it for a week straight at this point😂 I knew if it’s that good I’d want to stock up for my fat swipes. He’s so generous with his pricing that it makes it easy to grab more

Who is this Ali and how do I get his oil lol 😆
@greensilani_oud on Instagram. I believe he has distributors for his oil in different countries as he’s in Sri Lanka, but you can message him directly for information on how to grab his oil. I would strongly recommend it as even just talking with him is a pleasure.

For some time I been on the hunt for one of the cheapest gems I've ever come across , Hikayat's "Seri Karas" (wild malaccensis Pahang , Malay) version 1 or 2. They threw in a sample of a the v2 with my first order from them & immediately I fell in love. I hit the owners back asap & asked if they had more for sale , they had more but unfortunately it was being used for a future blend we now know as "Karas Cologne". A year later (this past May) they created a Hikayat Facebook group & I inquired once again in the group if anyone had some for sale I'll take it. They tagged one of the owners (Arif) saying he might have some leftover from the Karas Cologne batches & sure enough he did ! Arif sent me a picture (below) to confirm he had 4 vials containing about a half gram each of SK V2...when I tell you I was happier than a pig in shit ! 2 grams 🥲 & he only charged me retail ! Anyway the orders locked in , paid for & on it's way from Malaysia as we speak , just wanted to share this success story with you guys lol
Shouts to Hikayat & Arif especially for looking out !
