I can't even imagine how much pressure the delivery services must be under this year....Amazed how well it has gone for the most part...

Received my sandalwood from India, but I don't have much to compare it to. I find it woody, waxy, and a little sweet. Not very strong smelling at all. I have several kinds coming from Rising Phoenix, I think. Will be interesting comparing them. I must say, the little 10 ml aluminum bottle is interesting!

It will be interesting to hear your thoughts. So you haven't smelled sandalwood before? It is indeed a gentle oil - very heavy and good at modifying fragrance but gentle in itself.

I would say this is an average authentic sandalwood But does not compare to some of my vintage material from really high-quality sources.

So as this ages, it will get better?

I think if you pay for DHL priced services from US PS, in other words $25 to ship an envelope, you'll get similar speed. But woe to the person who relies on plain old snail mail over the holidays…

DHL is by far the most likely to shock me with the speed of delivery. It sometimes seems almost impossible. Like how could it physically travel and also clear customs in the brief time between when I order it and when it gets here.

FedEx is usually the worst but I actually had a large heavy air compressor delivered seven days before the estimated delivery date! I placed an order on New Year's Eve, it was processed the day after New Year's Day, shipped from New York FedEx free shipping and scheduled arrived in Oregon on 1/12. I got it yesterday! It's like it went air/express by mistake instead of cheap ground shipping. Given the holiday and two weekend days... I feel like there was a time warp or something. I am still confused honestly.

Yes. DHL amazes me. I don't know how they do it but I'm happy they do! To be clear. I don't blame the people mailing the items for the slow shipping times. They have no control over that. It does annoy me a bit when things take more that a week to ship. But I'm sure I'll survive

Purchasing anything on line is a good lesson in patience and its development in the self....🙂

Siberian Musk arrived from Ninjarobb

Looks like chocolate, smells like chocolate,
tastes like chocolate, oh snap! He included a free chocolate candy.:Roflmao::Roflmao: Yummmmmm.

The musk...some fresh grains as requested,
did a side by side with the same stuff from two years ago, the older batch , even though stored properly, turned darker in color, and lost some of that fresh ZING😵 It’s nice to have fresh musk.

Ah the chocolate goody....a nice thought all the same....
I thought it was compressed musk shipped to avoid suspicion until I tasted it too...
