The Anticipation Thread - Share Your 'inbound's!

I’m really looking forward to receiving Aljanah from Habzoud and Aceh from Imperial Oud.

I ordered the first because I don’t have a Hindi oil in my collection and the reviews/comments on here painted a wonderful picture. Confident ordering from @Habz786 after a positive experience with Mutahid earlier in the year.

Aceh was sent as a sample when I ordered Koh Kong Imperiale from IO. At first, I was slightly intimidated by the intense green vibe that seemed a mix of vetiver, lemongrass, actual grass, and something like sugar cane. Now, I’ve become completely addicted to it. The smell of this oil on my sleeve next day feels like it is purifying my nose.

Hey! I'm currently waiting for some 80s Mysore granules from Zaza Haus, hopefully should be coming next week, DHL is pretty quick in my experience. I was waiting for them to go on sale at Ensars' but they sold out 🙁 But anyways this'll be my first time burning sandalwood, cant wait! Anyone have any experience with this one?

I have the 70’s Mysore,
The granules came from stock that was properly stored for decades. When heated, you get a lot of smooth cream before it starts to become more woody. Very Mysore-ish.
 
At this very moment, I am not anticipating any shipments.
That’s not a bad thing, in fact, it’s super great!!!
I’ve been tracking packages all year last year, with some taking more than two months. I probably have more gray hairs now, worrying about receiving them, and if the product is good.
How long will this respite last.

I only have musk grains from Russia inbound. Had to quit buying for a bit. House taxes due 😡. Oh well.
 
Another batch of co2 sinensis oil from grandawood. This is their "triple happiness" (lol) level. It's a little bit hard to understand from the writing what it is exactly that you're getting but I believe they are selling pure authentic stuff.

Does this co2 have that bees wax honey scent ? Thick slow moving oil ?
 
Thick and slow moving. Honey? Don't think so. Kind of a strange profile. I'm not crazy about it but the price is right so I'm trying the higher-end oil just to see how it compares to the cheaper one that I tried before.

My. O2 oil smells like beeswax/honey and is thick as honey . It’s super nice, gold in color
 
That's what I'm hoping for. Mine has a sinensis signature scent and a dry woody and kind of waxy woody vibe but isn't quite clean and pleasant. This is the grandawood zen path. A little off smelling at first and that dry woody note is a bit cloying somehow but it becomes very sweet and oudy after an hour or so. This is an oil I will have to layer with ambrette or something else, I think. Are you able to share your source without revealing a trade secret? I wonder if we're getting it from the same company?

Yay! My little samples of musk are in the u s. I plan on sampling straight to get an idea of what pure musk smells like. Then I'll put some in with the small sample of 5% with sandalwood to make it stronger.
