AA Oud Fougere. A marvelous interpretation of this genre, bringing my Dad to mind but with just enough sparkle on top—and not a lot of camphoreous lavandin—to put it squarely in the now.

ALD Malik al Taif. Rose jammin’

Musk Lave by ALD. This has developed with age. The powdery facet has receded to let the other ingredients shine more in the later stages.

Hekayat ASO...an amazing sandalwood and Musk so complexes I can't describe it...but I do know that this oil will change your own personal scent profile with only a couple of wears.

I wouldn’t usually put one of Prin’s perfumes in here but his new Vallee de Roses is a reall 99% natural stunner. Gorgeous rose, spices, moss. Very much an Attar in spray form and much more subtle than his usual touch. At first I was getting bug spray but it was just from the incredibly intense Taif he used. You know that citric rose you get in Taif? In the states they use a synthetic version of that to mask chemical mosquito repellent, so every so often I get a bad association woth a great rose.

I have come across a Sandalwood oil of this caliber and at this price point in a very long time. Tenacious and robust Santal aroma.

Agar Parisien attar and extrait. One of my absolute favorites out of everything I own. The attar is much smoother with more creamy facets compared to the bitter side that the extrait showcases. Wish I had gallons of both.

this one is pulsating on my wrist with bright energy. 😋

Siberian Musk II attar. Very "gentlemanly" scent. Classic old-school. The EDP version is better IMHO.

Encens Chypre (Sultan Pasha): Such a swoon-worthy composition - especially for Chypre fans. I hope it'll come back soon.

This was my sotd today. I absolutely feel this is underrated in every way especially how he blended the heart into the base. That transition from fresh Taif rose gardens to spicy incense was gorgeous. It like strips away all the florals slowly and reveals this soapy, powdery floral facet before the spiced incense shows up. Absolutely brilliant!

So now I’m wearing Auphorie’s Osmanthus Kyara Attar and a bit of Kyara Ltd on the wrist. I think the Kyara in the name of Auphorie Attar is a bit of a stretch but I do love the kinamic Oud and Osmanthus combo that they released, whatever it’s name is.
