Rayong Super Oud oil - Majid Attarji

Beautiful dark brown full bodied Oud that has wood and nut notes that are prominent. The nuttiness is not overbearing which I like. There’s that slight varnish scent. It has fair sillage, projection, and longevity.

I’m getting notes of apples, bananas, and whipped cream. This is a silky and luxurious Oud. Feels like it’s a higher grade than super. I think this is where EO’s Oud Extraordinaire is supposed to come from, it bears no resemblance in texture or scent. Lucky to have this in my collection.

I give this a 9/10.

Kalakassi Oud - Banafa Oud

This is a medium bodied clear reddish brown Oud. I get notes of chicken soup, sour milk, candy, dirt, and rock. It’s enjoyable though. I love how it’s not viscous and rather thin. I prefer my ouds that way. I had tried Kalakassi before from Oud Stories but did not like it. This particular one is agreeable with me.

I give it a 8/10.

Khazanah – Fuze Kuala Lumpur

Smooth, clean, and artisanally distilled from wild Malaysian agarwood, Khazanah stands out right away. It opens with a creamy, silky texture and a very subtle camphorous tone, touched by light, blonde woods. As it begins to bloom on skin, I pick up gentle nuances of honey and vanilla, green-stemmed white florals, and hints of mossy earth. There's an almost floral lift to the mids, but it stays grounded—never sweet, never fruity. Just well-balanced and quietly refined.

The drydown moves into deeper territory—resinous, smoky, and full of soft, smoldering incense. There's a slightly medicinal thread, but it’s clean and modern, never veering into funk or barn. Performance is above par, lingering with grace. Honestly, one of the more polished and multifaceted Malaysian ouds I’ve come across.

Changmai Oud oil - Oudique

It’s a lovely clear yellowish colored Oud. It has a notes of tea, melon, mint, and a bit of wood. It bears some resemblance to Habzoud’s Zamarad 2. It’s a light and easy to digest oil worthy of being a gateway Oud to someone new to Oud. It’s easy to wear and perfect for summer.

I give it 8/10.

I'm thinking about buying this blind so I get it by next weekend!

Samout Oud oil - Oudique

A beautiful full bodied dark Oud which has notes of wood, smoke, minerals, and sea salt. It’s very enjoyable. I’ve been trying on scents all day and this one is making it self known. It’s the dominant scent now. But it’s not overpowering. It’s subtle. I love it. And it punches above its weight in terms of price. It’s a grab.

I give it a 10/10.
