Baieido Tsukigase I picked up many years ago. Just superb oud from start to finish. Very charming sweet notes in the bass, dense resinous oud in the middle, intriguing earthy, mineral, warm woody notes on top.

Vietnamese, not sure what species.

Do any of you have this problem? Come back after work and your house smells like a**?

I think it really depends on the wood and at which temperature it is burned. Some woods get really acrid if burned too hot or used on charcoal. But having found the right woods I now regularly fumigate my place and it smells amazing, even killing bad smells. I get compliments on the smell when people enter my home. Maybe it also helps that I burn a lot of frankincense, which keeps away musty smells. I also don't let the smoke settle too much, there is always a window open if something was recently burned.

Is that still a good place to be looking for Oud? I recall people asking about visiting the markets back on the basenotes forums. I have some
really nice oils and wood I got from eBay vendors in Singapore but haven’t heard much mention of people buying from there.
