So yesterday I heated a black kyara which is soft and chewy like a full blown soft oil green, waxy-oily to the touch.....on the heater a super rich and brown sugar vanilla of nice balanced bitter sweetness....increased the heat it got stronger....was not anything special...increased the heat to 160 and that vanilla and brown sugar got thick and dense drowning even the throat but thats not where the story ends...after saturating my nose to the fumes and felt the bittersweetness in my neck i started to smell some insane white florals like nightflowers/honeysuckle/magnolia/jasmine/lily and it was confusing at first because i was sticking my nose deep into the heater and the vanilla would start screaming......what it was? the air. the inhales i was making with a nose saturated with the fumes of this kyara had their own exchange with the air i was breathing in. i was in disbelief. i mean all other woods will stick to the nose and you can smell them but this one made the air smell floral sweet like nothing else. how could a vanilla brown sugar aroma make your nose smell oxygen as florals? and thats exactly what insane thing i just confirmed for the second time right now. unbelievable. just when you think you have seen something you are left as nothing again by a new thing. such incredibly magical beauty in these woods yet such an ugly world created by monsters and psychopaths.....its so hard to believe that such heaven inside these woods exist in such a horrible reality.....sure life is great but we are desensitized....to just go along our ways and act as if its all good.....

anyway....another thing...near week ago i recieved a sample of a purple kyara that completely demolished all wood i have. how do i even start. all i know is that i have many woods reeeeeeally high up there and this new one was just miles above...i shaved some and started smelling....the most impossible richness left me in shock much before my realization of the shock and the first thing i did was checked the temperature i thought i had it at 180-200c cause the atomic loudness and super strong aroma complexity was at full blast.......THE HEAT WAS ON 50c.........................just shocking.....left completely baffled....since then i have not got it off my mind for more than a couple minutes....

Pilipino Soil wood - Oudique. This is a 22g chunk I got a little while ago. More of a stick really. Quite dense and hard. It looks really dry but after holding it for a while, the moisture from the palm of my hand brings out the shades of resin hidden within. Not sure how to attack this yet so I've cut it in half with a small toothed saw leaving behind some nice powder. I've given that a go on my handheld ceramic and man...am I excited! Starts off with that kind of cinnamon, nutmeg woody spice notes. I'm comfortable sitting at that for now but as I climb higher I have zero doubts this will sing.

Lots of heating Thanks to @Xerohome

Started with Two famous incense "Rakokus

Lingering Snow - Sweet Spicy Bitter Sweet it have a nice notes and super clean i feel its thai.

Kakuyama Bitter Spicy and soft sweetness. this one more special with its notes and elegance.

Black oil Kyara "Spring Rain" Special scent, 5 flavors and outstanding balance.

Black oil Kyara "Spring Beach" 4 Flavored with great balance too

Nipponkodo Manaban "Nha Trang tocbong" used here, i seen it used under rakoku too and Manaka, amazing scent and always delivers !

Green Oil "Sky waiting for the moon" awesome notes but i dislike its saltiness, its annoying for me, there is pleasant saltiness and annoying ones! also this term sometimes used for 5 flavors but some schools for Manaka.

Kito Tenkundo "Radiance of the dragon flower" Purple Oil with super special scent and its screaming with its power and radiance.

Iron Oil Kyara "Namiji no fune" Beautiful notes with unique spice, awesome Medicinal and subtle sweetness.

Condensed oil "Shadow of the moon" another 5 flavored wood quite rare but the balance of it isn't that great.

Yellow Oil "Millennium Autumn" One of the most special spice notes, amazing depth..the black part have one of heaviest scents ever.

Yellow/Green "Voice of the Fountain" on Kioka it have strong salty opening before it goes to spice and sweetness, this is one of the cases that piece shine more on chinese type heaters.

Charging heater now and back to it later.

I had the same experience with my first timer experience with Green Kyara. It would stick to my nose even after exiting the house into the regular fresh air. Priceless experience. Your experience sounds great! Glad you enjoyed it.

@Maunamoku wood is consistently in the top tier for me.
Tonight it is Kedah… I put a little chip on the subtism and cranked it up to about 17v and when I came out of the shower, the chip looked like obsidian and the room had a spicy and smooth aroma with hints of something animalistic.
I see why this commands its premium!

This wasn’t the normal stick to nose aroma. It made air smell like something completely different than the aroma it was projecting on the heater. This is the first time I have seen this after heating some 200 different kyaras
