made my day, thanks brotherI’m wearing Elevation today from ASO
I know this is a spray but honestly it’s one of the best oud experiences I’ve had. It has everything I love about oud and is blended so incredibly well. It’s perfect.
Oh, man. I was waiting for today to sample this one but my nose is still stuffy from a mild cold and I don't feel prepared for such an oil. Bummer.Jinkoh Store’s Maluku on my right wrist.
That would be Ward Lab, but I think you know that?WHO DO I CONTACT FOR SOME SAMPLES!!!?? LOL
But wait…I thought they were just plantation Thai extracts 🤣🤣🤣Nha Trang 101 from Attar Store

First impression is that I like these a lot better than nearly all the Oriscents and other Taiwan oils I've tried.
Rather than the scotch tape gasoline top note that many Oriscents have, which feels artificial - these have a lingering nose numbing sinus opening with out the gasoline aggresivnesss. This allows me to smell the actual profile of the oil in the midst of the kynam like experience. I found that with many oils the gasoline mimicking kynam thing felt quite contrived, so much so that it covered up and hindered really appreciating the profile of the wood/oil.
As someone who spent a lot of money trying pretty much all of the "kynam/kyara" Oriscents, I found myself a bit let down and ended up selling all of them in time. I realized that a majority of the time it was just an aggresive gasoline kind of top note, on top of a somewhat regular wood profile. Of course there are exceptions and were some great oils. The hype, contrived scarcity, and continually inflated prices are/were a turn off for me in addition.
So now looking back I don't regret offloading the near entirety of my oil collection as now Im able to experience what I feel to be better, more enjoyable oils at a fraction of the price of the exaggerated and inflated Oriscent tax.
Tiny dots of these oils last many, many hours for me and the kynamic nose numbing facet lasts into the drydown, which is not something I had experienced prior.
These are some exceptional oils. I am by far no expert but I had the opportunity to meet Marius and try these two. As you said, its not oud anymore.Jinkoh Store - Emperor of Maluku … the name doesnt do right for this oil, i have till date not smelled an oil like this(not from Maluku anyways), so strong and delicate, punchy and changing. Lasts for hours on skin …
Besides his Vintage Malay which is a unique and amazing oil(nobody would guess its a malay, nobody would guess its oud probably) , this one had me thinking hard !!! we tried this one out together with Faheem and we both were mesmerized, ty @Mario P. for such a baba oil.
Marius got some insane gemsThese are some exceptional oils. I am by far no expert but I had the opportunity to meet Marius and try these two. As you said, its not oud anymore.
The Emperor Maluku was shifting scents and colors the whole time from crystal clean yellow to tropical and floral fruits and delicious mango ice cream. Mindblowing😋
The vintage Malay smelled pure purple like the most delicious grapes you can find. Didnt smell like oud for sure 😆
Bro he had ceramic heater and some high grade woods with him. Its totally new experience to heat wood 😍Marius got some insane gems
we were talking the other day he told me you guys went out for lunch send me a picture would have loved to join!Bro he had ceramic heater and some high grade woods with him. Its totally new experience to heat wood 😍
yea we talked. loading....That would be Ward Lab, but I think you know that?
the one with the salivary noted. i was hoping he had the minty opening one also, but its all good. one is better than nothingI’m curious which one you got or if you got both. The one that is more robust I was able to appreciate right off the bat. The more subtle one fooled me into thinking there was less to it than there was the first time I smelled it. What it settles down to makes me very very happy.
if it smells like some nice ck oil i will def like it. have you had experience with ck co2 oils? man they been killing my curiosity for so long. still havent tried one. just a super cheap onf that was 23$ from china, smelled faintly but on the heater it was pretty goodWell, I hope you like it. I intend to use it to make an affordable oud spray (that smells like kinam/sinensis oud) to sell in the local market some day.
