I agree with @Habz786 reminds me of syeds ascent but without the ethereal quality. A great quality oud, and I enjoy your reviews @AmmarAl Shareef Oudh JANNAH,

Just because people dont like an oil doesnt mean its "bashing". I personally prefer honest reviews of oils and would never take it as bashing but as different strokes for different folks. If it was Ensar bashing you wouldnt see many positive reviews of his oils on this thread. Never seen you call out Ensar for his bashing others on Gaharu![]()
Yeah it read more of a dislike towards GP which seems a love/hate oil here, as opposed to bashing Ensar's oils in general. Personally I don't love it but do enjoy it 🙂

Don't see any comments about ensar??I have a hard time with this one. Syed ascent is distinctly a maroke. A damp forest floor note. Yet ASO themselves saying (Jan actually) that the reason they didn’t distil any papua to date was for this very same reason: damp.
I have jannah and here to say is a very nice oil. But built differently. Less green shades more brown yellow orange. The papua origin is there but the aesthetic different. Equally beautiful.
Alas Ensar bashing is the current status of the ouddict forum and like an invisible hand (actually many times fully visible hands) it leads the community to carry on with the Ensar Oud bashing rhetoric.
