I've tried the LMK Brunei too, I got some really uplifting vaporousness on top of that woodiness you describe, I really like it and am eager test it again. :Inlove:

Today it's Mandalay Signature (LMK). An overall crisp and bitter profile, am I getting some orange peel on lamb's wool @F4R1d0uX ? :Cooler:😉
All aboard the Brunei train. Unknown destination but what a pleasant ride it is. Dark woodsy vanille after a vapouris opening. The LMK train is moving along nicely.

I haven’t been wowed by a gyrinops oil yet, but then again, I haven’t tried many. Hopefully I will be surprised this year!
I'm new enough not to have experienced many different oils, and for most only a single wearing. I have only been wowed by Port Papua and to a lesser extent Papuamantan. I think these are gyrinops oils. They are both very green, which I like. The PP soars, the Papuamantan not as much. I'm not sure if this is due to the age of the two, or the distillation. I haven't experienced a true barnyard oil; Oud Zachariyya, but it was clean and horse saddle like.

It seems to me barn is pretty subjective. I’ve heard people call OZ Barny, but I have never smelled it myself. Personally, I call oils barny that have leather, hay, and wild herb notes, much like you would find in a barn/barnyard. I classify fermented oils as “funk.” Cheesy Lao and almost fecal Hindi oils...stuff like that.

I’m about to receive my Agar Aura oils if DHL can get their act together. I can let you know what my picks are. What profiles do you normally like?

I like complex oils with very good dry downs. I'm not so concerned on opening or mid ...

But my order of preference
Chinese
Sri Lankan
Hindi

I would recommend the Agar Aura sample pack.
Definitely recommend Agar Aura sample pack.
Feel Oud make some great oils, unfortunately not all their oils are listed as having samples available, I guess you could always email them about samples. Of the ones available, I have tried VSI, 777 and Abu Ketsani, and I have thoroughly enjoyed them all.
