today I have worn,

Malay Cola & Rose de Malaise by LMK - I must have had my hands come in contact with stuff while cooking/washing as these didn't last too long and I know they have decent longevity

Last time you worn one of my oils, you had a bike accident 😱.

I will try as soon as I can to make an Oud Soroaty (a Hindi of course) hoping it will conjure the spell ! :Devilish::turban:😱:Roflmao::Roflmao::Roflmao:.

Pkg arrived

Swiped Al Hashimi Adnan

Nice oil:clapping::clapping::clapping:

Opens ethereal...red ethereal,
I usually wait for top notes to subside before taking it all in, but these top notes are aromatically fine.

You smell the oil, you smell the wood, you smell the oil. The depiction of the wood is spot-on...just as in Adan.

After the top notes, the smell is very comforting..... I always liked Filipino aloes.
There’s a little animalic that peeks in, but then goes away. I wish it were stronger and stayed.

It’s not a powerhouse, and not a longevity beast, but what it is.....is very lovely.
I wish I got a spare bottle:Cry:

Meanwhile.....
I sampled Ateeq
as a barn lover, I think I met my match
this oil really takes you out to pasture
expert level only.....no beginners :Roflmao::Roflmao:

I also heated the Sarawak Sultan chips
more resinous than the picture suggests,
very aromatic, but I did a quick session,
will need to try it again to unlock it’s code:Geek:

UPDATE..
hours later Adnan is still lingering on the skin:thumbsup:

I had a small swipe of this on today and yesterday but wasn't really "paying attention" but I liked what I smelled! Can't say much besides that :Roflmao:
and yes Ateeq is fantastic. I've yet to burn my Sarawak wood but the Hindi wood smells like a Hindi oil from the packet alone! Talk about fragrant at room temp 😀

Really glad hearing you loved Adnan! and keeping in mind it's still an extra fresh young, it'll turn even more beautiful with time.

Ateeq is next level Hindi, u get that dark chocolate + black pepper in the opening? It really makes me wanna eat my wrist.

And as for Sarawak Sultans, it goes to show some Oud can be deceiving.:Roflmao:

Well pull out Adnan and have another swipe and tell us what you think! 😡:Roflmao:

Today is Royal Lao by Taha. This smells nothing like the Lao Oud I’m used to, which is a welcome change. Obviously need to spend some time to understand this.

I think just based on initial smell alone my favs will be Nashila, Royal Lao and Pursat. However, there is something very interesting to me about Mardelong. This smells pretty different from what I’m used to with Thai Ouds. There is a “soaring” quality to it and a special complexity I’m picking up just off the dabber tube, which is awesome. Blessings Oud friends.
