"Martabat" (Imperial Oud) - veeery nice Brunei oil, beautifully cooling with an exotic combination of spice, greenery, and florals.. This seems like an oil that it will take quite some time to learn, there's a lot of complexity and different notes here..

Had to put some Hainan Imperiale (Imperial Oud) on the other wrist as my first experience with this oil yesterday was superb - this is quite delicious, a mix of succulent sweet floral and bone dry bitter earthiness.. This one gets the oud crave going..

LMK Malay Cola on my hands today.

Decided to finally grab samples of almost all of RBOs offerings today as well. Looking forward to it.

How is it ?

I'm releasing a gyrinops version of it soon that will be sold at Malay Cola's price.

Dark oud lovers, Sri Lankan fans (won't be Sri Lankan but smells close to what you are used to), camphoric ouds addicts be ready ...

I’m very interested in this and liking it quite a bit. The opening is vaporous with a nutty-woodiness. Shortly following is a light sweetness with a smoky undertone. I’m a big barbecue fan, and this aspect reminds me of the caramelized “burnt ends” of a nice slow smoked brisket. This transitions into a Hindi feel (?) with leather and slightly powdery herbs/hay with that sweetness still hovering over everything. I got this sample from a friend a long time ago and forgot I had it. Glad to have found it at this point.

I love camphoric Ouds 😀

Czar Ceylon

The Thai part of it really hit me today.
I like this oil, and wish it were louder, but sometimes blends and co-distillations don’t hit the spot. It’s a treat to have a good single region oil.....even better,,,”single tree” oil😵

EO Oud Shibli. Green wood, more herbal than medicinal. Camphor. Not a projection beast but smells nice on my wrist. Quite slow to open up... 2+ hours in it's beginning to project a tad more. I believe this is the third wearing and I am appreciating this more this morning.
