Olfactory journey of the day: started with Mortal Skin by stephan humbart lucas ..4 sprays , lasted all day, i have always enjoyed the play of this scent.. I was still getting some very gentle wiffs from the exotic inky dry down of mortal skin, this is roughly 12hrs after ..when i decided to swipe some Aceh Candan by Ensar oud this evening (2 swips).. its as if the snake became alive and took me down in the wild.. uff .. the accidental combination is just beautifully dark and deep .. I could imagine being at the core of a deep dark jungle where the light from the moon was shining and showing me different shades of the misty grey sky ..i was enjoying the dark play of these two aroma so much that it brought me on a cross road where i was thinking some rose oil would be perfect, it would have added some romance to this journey/imagination or should i swipe some ruh khus and explore deeper into the jungle, while contemplating on this i ended up sipping on some spicy black jasmine tea .... ladies and gentleman i was chilling.. on the spot ! This are the moments where you think, say or do nothing, just chill and enjoy the pleasure of beautiful co incidences of life 🙂
This evening has been a olfactory pleasure and i even thought to my self how would i smell with this combo when i go outside to a social gathering or something, but truely speaking, experiences like these are soulfully and personally judged and enjoyed.
I am typing this few hours after my olfactory high, as of now its just the Oud and me . It still smells strong and i can imagine a ground of smooth wet velvety Mud, by the bark of a mossy banyan tree in the same beautiful forest. I could lay down on it and zone out watching the now clear stary sky with the full moon shinning .
Aceh Candan is a Oud that blooms from budding stage to a flower . Not saying it smells like a flower, but its pattern of aromatic development is like one. It definetly is a strong heady oud.
Will definetly swipe it again, without any extra aroma and see how it unfolds itself solely .

Nothing today until possibly tonight, am going out to watch Wales vs England in rugby.
Last night though I took a big swipe of ASO's "Aasifah" and came to the realisation that this may be my favourite Hindi. It's odd, for a while I found the opening almost unbearable, it was skank to the maximum but the past 3 or 4 wears I've not had that reaction to it at all.
