Oud Imani Assamese by Tajul Islam Bakhshi: Though not vintage, I love its fresh scent. And beauty is to see it blooming with the passage of time. I am into Taj's Hindi Oud oils nowadays, and am after to acquire his latest distillation 198. The previous ones I have acquired.
Today I had a telephonic chat. Well, the person who really has knowledge, not information, always has something different in his tone, in his approach, in his dealings. Meekness incarnation. Whatever I said about Oud and oils, he just smiled beautifully the way a caring teacher never negates a student of class 1.
He is at New York in the mean time. I wish I could be there to see him
. Oud lovers visit him there. An un-announced Oud Fest is there with the man who himself is Oud.

Its really nice, saved a little for today. So wearing it again now, still think I’m pretty new to oud so maybe not the best to give a detailed description but ill try lol. Its got a beautiful incense woody vibe but also get a stunning fruity jammy notes and even picking up some mint maybe ?
Also put a tiny amount on my t shirt and its powerful on clothing

Olfactorily.....a simple Thai profile with a touch of Southern Thai. No tutti frutti or bubble gum.
Technically.......a good distillation, not too new age, not over-juiced, minimal auxiliaries. All of which make you experience the Oleoresin. In this case, I have a suspicion that the wood used in the distillation was truly incense grade.

Using new Marocky one by fellow oudhead @AbuTominaga. You know why I said Marocky already, this one is in steroids.
Really enjoyed his Malaysian oil, it has got that punch with a matured Borneosque dry down. Infact I like this dry down better than the borneo stuff.

Feel Oud Hindi Alsi. Dark leather, almost coffee. Cacao slightly. Plenty salty. Yet clean and crisp leather.
Some subtle sweetness starts to bubble up from the underbelly. Gives it a real fullness. Still leathery. Less salty. Super enjoyable in this brisk weather.

Nirvan (M 197) by Tajul Bakhshi: When Agarwood and the master both are Assamese, how the oil cannot be true to Assamese profile. Masculine and mesmerising! Firey and fantastic. Thank goodness, it is above chocolatish stereotype note and excessive barn.

Habzoud Zamarad - I love this oil and Habib what a guy amazing person to deal with we both have similar taste in oud so can easily connect...
I'm looking forward to trying Muhib and Fahad I'm sure they'll also be gems ... just like his earlier oils
