It’s Monday [emoji2960][emoji20].... to cheer myself up I’ve indulged in a few swipes of Eau de Brunei from LMK . This oil (made from wild Brunei oud) combines some of the best qualities of Sinensis (bitter and herbal to start with honey qualities to balance out in the dry down) and that minty/menthol like quality you perceive in some Malaysian oud oils. Absolutely stunning quality as usual from La Maison Khenata. Brunei Oud is very rare nowadays so it’s nice to have some in the collection MashaAllah

Gone for Loas Classic by Imperial Oud today. A very affordable oil. This one has a slight bit of barn, leather and a hint of dark fruit. Very good value for money oud and incredibly potent.

Bro to my noose is a deep woody ,little incense ,green jungle vibe ,with hints of mint( close to brunei vibe) but covered in nice soft dark vanilla .Is perfect everyday use ,nightout etc ,very easy to wear

Left swipe - Oud Yunus by EO and right swipe - Gahara by LMK. I really appreciate both oils and experiencing side-by-side really brought out some notes in OY that I hadn't consciously noticed before.

House of Misk Malay Encens

Good oudiness, soaked just right,
has Malaysian chip smell, resinous,
overall nice.

It seems to still be available at HOM,
I thought it was long gone.

Agar Aura - Pursat Select.
So oudy. Balance of sweet and bitter that hits the sweet spot right in the middle. So much better from when I first got it. I have learned from Agar Aura oils you have to be patient with them. Give them some time and they mature so nicely.
