smelling from about 2 inches away reminds of gently heated malinau chips kodo style. Quite remarkable.

Last night: AA Bhamo. This time I perceived the wild flower note that seems to dance on the periphery of the scentscape. In the early-middle phase, I also intermittently detect a note approximating “shin-kyara“ - similar to Yamadamatsu SS kyara chips I recently acquired. I’m not sure I would have been able to identify this note had I not had this reference.

Super dynamic oil with a loud projection
Zero barn ,slight smoke tone ,a top note smoke
Maybe an old library vibe as well but not leather bound more aged paper/vellum
Absolutely outstanding!!!!

Nusa is for lovers of fresh, oceanic oud. No burn, very fresh, light smell. Very beautiful for right users. Not of my genre.

EO Irian Erang - ah man, I had given up on his Cultivated oils but this seems to strike a balance with the Irian (I believe wild part of distillation) in the forefront with the Thai Crassna (cultivated) there as just a carrier which actually works well with the scent composition. The sweetness of the Thai portion carries the body of dark minty green Irian jungle through. This oil has crazy silage as well, I can smell next day on my arm - I like to call it GP little brother and is very much so.

But remember - I'm a sucker for Papua - that Green gets me every time!
