So awesome to see a straight up Hong Kong oil. I Don’t see them too frequently. What do you get from it?Jinkoh Store - Emperor Guan Yu

Sounds like Blue Malay. Did anyone compared these two?AA Royal Sumatra. Such an incredible oil. Technically my first love of Oud. The icy cold minty smell/effect is soooo good. I would LOVE to find some wood which smells like this oil.
I have worn both multiple times. They aren’t the same. I appreciate Blue Malay for what it is, but two very different scents, and diff quality levels to my nose.Sounds like Blue Malay. Did anyone compared these two?
It's Manuka honey core, yellow kinam with hints of green kinam, on my skin with little drop after a while of application oil is loud I don't need to reach it to enjoy the amazing aroma 🥰So awesome to see a straight up Hong Kong oil. I Don’t see them too frequently. What do you get from it?
Thanks 🙏I have worn both multiple times. They aren’t the same. I appreciate Blue Malay for what it is, but two very different scents, and diff quality levels to my nose.
Al Malek Al Maliyzi (Al Shareef). Have only a little sample of this so use it only occasionally. Today, it started as a high-frequency coniferous-eucalyptusy profile with an incensey base, in the vein of Blue Malayu or Sumatra Q-Tiq from FeelOud, but denser deeper and darker, green-black smelling rather than blue. It's getting deeper and more resinous with time, and it's really smooth and refined. Funny, the scent is elusive if I sniff the application spot (collarbone) directly, but if I just go about my business waves of Malaysian goodness keep emanating.I love experiencing that.
Olfactory fatigue perhaps?Being new to the world of Oud and Attars (this is my first post😉 as I am more familiar with essential oils or commercial fragrances. After receiving for the first time today a collection of attars from Maison Anthony Marmin I chose to wear “Oud Al Fares”. My nose is not as sophisticated in discovering the nuances of Fragrances as most people, but I found the Scent to become “elusive“ as you described the more I focused on it. As I went about my business I would get wafts of fragrance, which were quite warm and pleasant. When I brought my wrist to my nose to explore the Attars nuances further, it would play peekaboo with my senses. Can someone explain why this happens? Is this a characteristic of “Oud” or something quite familiar with the world of Attars? I also experienced a very deep, calming, mental fog or psychological effect similar to “Vetiver“ EO but not quite as sedating from this Attar, even though I only used a tiny dot on my wrist. Does “Oud” have a psychological or mind altering effect? Being a spiritual person my body has always been sensitive to substances, Crystals and herbal supplements. Does anyone else experience this?
Originally I thought this as well. It wasn’t the same “nose blindness” or “olfactory fatigue” I experience with synthetic fragrances. It was as if the fragrance was playing Shadow games with me.Olfactory fatigue perhaps?
Wish it lasted longer but this an amazing value oil
I feel the same. I like the Anonkha II better.First try…..
Lucky Oud Anokha II on the left
Rooh Assam on the right.
Late night swipe, so I won’t be able to see these oils through their progressions, but so far,
I like what I’m smelling.
Rooh Assam has more power than Anokha II,
but I am more attracted to the latter.
