Is it just me or did this oil fail to meet Ensar’s description?

RBO Wild 60-day soak Bangladesh Rangamati, Hill Tract. I’m getting a lot of the sour on this wearing. I am curious how this oil will develop over time. It does not seem to be as popular as the Bandarban iteration. Ish’s Bandarban chips have been in my collection for a few years and I always enjoy their scent fumigating the hallways of my home. These are bookish ‘comfort’ scents versus the more ethereal subitism-type scents.

Swiped on some Pusong Qi this morning. Today I’m getting a lot cloves, cinnamon and mesquite honey!

In the Sonoran desert there’s a specific kind of honey that comes from Acacia blossoms and Mesquite trees with a sort of spiced sweetness and floral tonality to it. Pusong Qi really captures that vibe. I know acacia isn’t a word you see used for Oud very often the trees out here are so fragrant in the summertime. They exude this warm honeyed sweetness and I love that Pusong Qi captures that.

I thought it was fairly accurate, basically just green papua mixed with borneo 2000 to my nose.
I guess in my mind I was expecting something allttle more green, floral, and vanilla’ish. I do agree it smells a lot like Green Papua though. But even then Green Papua doesn’t smell green to me. In fact it elicits lots of “brown” notes to my nose.

I also get zero raspberry notes like the description stated with OE2.

It was pretty easy to spot

I spotted the string but not idea what it was there for as it was so obvious.

@Rahel On another note, while this quiz is great, please keep the topics on this to Scent of the Day and make sure that the posts are relevant to the thread as otherwise it makes the lives of the moderators and myself difficult.

Oh yeah, no raspberry for me either. Its much more of a woody cedar type of borneo than a raspberry or vanilla-cinnamon like Borneo3k or Ertugrul. Smells pretty identical to many other Borneo oils and to me it's not super interesting for that reason. I mean if I wanted to smell cedar wood I would take a walk and smell cedar wood, I don't want to spend hundreds of dollars for that aroma.
