Oud of the night 🌃

[Lucky Oud: Assam Ateeq 2]

Heavenly Hindi, one of the best Hindi I have tried. Deep, dark and sweet molasses, a soft smokey touch intertwined with an array of plums, berries, dates, and booze showcased in a perfect symphony.

Your question was if people could smell or had lost the ability.
I was answering that the SQ oils I have are amazing smelling . That’s your answer
Also where do these oils keep flowing from?
Who knows how much is out there, the bottles were very large as you can see Ensar and others holding them up for inspection.
The royal# 1 took ensar years to sell out
As for the Wood from SQ ?
It is self explanatory.
The quality is not found elsewhere and the price is very fair compared to the high prices being charged in most markets today for wood of lesser quality.
And honestly who cares who owned what previously?
Great oils are great oils and so so ones are so so, same with wood
Purchase quality not a story tale
No unfortunately that doesnt answer the question as that attribute is not specific to SQ oils and that is exactly my point, as it is already happening any decent smelling oil can be called SQ.

The quality is not found else where ? The woods sultan have is not even cloose with what meens quality in wood ! I will not not go deeper this "drama" cuz i really dont care about ,but dont say the woods were to palace was best quality 🤣 not even far away....and a point you dont get it ,most of sq are not sq ,same for woods, are just other items with sq badge ,and UAE is full of that with "certifacates" / bottles etc ,and now ,also the HJ very faked with wooden boxes and etc
PS not deny the quality oof what you sniff there ,i just say about "situation"
100% Mario, the reason this needs highlighting is that the vast majority of the oils and woods being sold off as SQ had nothing to do with the Sultan and the end consumer needs to know that.

Habzoud hitam qadeem
Habzoud Oud Caliph

After yesterday’s experience I applied Oud Caliph where it smelled best, and it’s back to its old bright sweetness. Now, the ‘animalistic’ note is subdued and perfectly balancing the brightness, giving it more depth. Love it!
I don’t know if it is the spot, or the day. I always clean my skin prior to application. 🤔
Edit: This drydown is sooooo good! Can the experts try to describe it? @EJayB ? @Bazungu ? @Sproaty ?

Hitam qadeem.. What can I say. It makes me want to sit by a fire with a blanket and drink hot cocoa! I think it’s the most soothing/warming oil I know of. One doesn’t need a heater, but hitam qadeem!

I'm useless here, by the time it's dried down well, my smelling ability has gone rubbish! 😅

Trinity Oud by Olefaktory (Co-distillation of Malay, Thai and Viet)

Starts off with green, slight hint of mint, little spice and then the sweetness hiding behind comes into the play to shine this oud. The sweetness doesn't overpower the oil as some of the Thai oils does but very well balanced. Middle note is very addictive. This oil is like an art and once matured, it's going to be one of the valuable collections in my opinion. My review doesn't do justice to this oil tbh.

Great job brother! This inspired me to do a co-distillation on my next project.

Xue Jie - Wild Laos 2005 Dragon's Blood Oud Oil by Rising Phoenix. Coming to the end of my sample, after 4 years! Really good, starts off very potent, a "low" barn of sorts (I'm quite sensitive to this nowadays and it doesn't jump out as being very off-putting) and then quickly smooths out into a deep, reddish smelling hue.
tis good, ya
