EO Kinam Rouge oil (gifted me by @Joe King), yesterday evening while watching medieval Britain movie, no idea if it has any kinam thing in it, but the scent is very pleasant though not so potent.
Earthy, incensy, leathery, cool, bitter, and clean ; the sweetness is quite tamed in this one compared to for example thai trat ouds i've been using.
But more tamed sweeteness perhaps allows for the imagination to move more freely and adapt to a story-line more easily. I wish though it was a bit more potent/projecting.

blast from the past! How's that, now? I remember it being a very strong Hindi
Today I'm wearing Ensar's 2005 Assam Organic which I swiped onto the back of one hand, but then rubbed the back of my hands together, not leaving any free space for the 2nd oil I brought with me to work!
whoops
This oil is great, very peppery and sharp at the start, and straddling the edge of too barny for my tastes - thankfully falling into the "juuuust right" side of things.

This was a sample from Curt.I got a few years ago.It is still going strong!Good luck with the Assam at work.lol.
I got some star on the tip if my nose and it really stayed with me for a while,up close.

Now i am putting other ouds on my nose tip.It can get to be an overload but when you concentrate and breath very slowly it really pays off.
Now i'm just waiting for the contact dermatitis nose.

Haha yeah, I did this with Ensar's Tongan Musk (Siberian musk steeped in sandalwood). Really zooms in on the musky characters, which would otherwise feel like just a sandalwood oil.
