Are holes in the wood like this corrensponding to drilling process of plantation oud or its corresponding to ants or other insects or the resin formation process?

Horseshoe vietnamese agarwood 10,8g,
I think the name just refers to shape.
It doesnt booze up too much resin on subitism, on lower temperatures sweet floral aroma, on 420 celsius it started to be very camphoreous, i feel like i breathed fresh cold mountain air, my eyes are very minty from it.

This is a wound cover agarwood. Usually formed on stumps / cut branch stumps.

In Chinese we separate them into BanTou (板頭) (Board head), then older ones with higher resin content is TeiTao (Iron Heads 鐵頭)

The picture with my hand is old hong Kong wound cover pieces. Sinensis

Video of the pieces in the video:

This one have still the pieces of dried soil inside of agarwood. I tasted on tongue and have nice earthy herbal aroma. Wouldnt be this type of “agarwood” soil ideal for mitti attar?
Aroma of the soil reminds me a lot of Kedah soilwood oil from Maunamoku.
Around 60g, probably less how i scrap the soil out of inside
