It is a statement of fact. Insinuating someone is a shill isn't very nice either esp. When that attitude had the Oud majlis shutdown.

I am not gonna loose sleep over your inability or unwillingness to tell the difference between Mr B and Mr.P, berticularly because you guys seem to have a problem with everything.

I just took a picture of my collection but it's 1.64 mb. I guess the forum can't handle it..... Lol

not a nice comment at all........................................

I had no problem telling Mr B and Mr.P apart! I remember him from BN. Sometimes in life, people have similar names, and we manage 🙂

littlecrowgir, yes i also think the best way to use ouddict is if you use your BN username as i did and most others, but as far as i can recall there was not any Mr. B posting on the BN oud forum it was only Mr. P who actually start it as was the first poster for oud back in 2008. there was Master B and MrB-banks but no Mr. B posting in the oud forum, well maybe i am wrong and if there was actual Mr. B posting to the BN oudforum, I apologize.

Well, that escalated quickly!

Well if you insist on calling me Master.... So be it. I was starting to think it is a little condescending to people who want to quote or address me..... But if you insist I am Master B.To elaborate on my comments before, I think Arabic is the language of heaven but it is a fact that it has no alphabet with a sound similar to P. I can therefore understand Mandeel having a problem because P is pronounced as B in Arabic.May I also point out that there is a period in Mr.P, whereas Mr B uses a space, not accounting for the fact that they are different alphabets in almost all languages (hence my comments about Arabic, where p is pronounced b).if we can stop being petty and move on that would be best. I doubt you would have a case in an intellectual property court not only because they are common initials but also because there is a significant difference. Here's a picture of my collection along with my new additions. I will post details on the proper thread as this one is meant for reviews hence I am within my rights to comment on Oud oils here.

nice collection, is the last vial on the right KZ85?

Perhaps something that would also help would be the use of an avatar photo? I personally look to the photo first, to identify the author of a post.

MrB is ok i even didn't see you before in bn with that name but now everything are clear you are more welcome and forget what happen and I apologize for that mistake ... 😎ðŸ‘

Hey whats up guys, nice site.Hate that BN closed the forum completely, cant look up any reviews...anyway can someone give me a review on Ajmal Masterpiece

80 years kalakassi and Masterpiece are the best hindi’s I have try so far I am not good with notes but I can say the kalakassi is very balsamic and Masterpiece is very earthy to me both are non barn hindis but on some days I get some very nice gentle barn also, I think Oudamber did a very good detailed review of Masterpiece on BN oud forum, too bad the owner of BN did not agreed to have even read only option so at least we can use it as a reference the priceless oud information that the BN oud forum gather over the years.

Interesting how BN allowing so many immature treats like: panty droppers, Fragrance that remind you of "the dirty old man" colognes for nailing girls, tons of Aventus garbage etc…..

But “discovered some member's wives were directing people to their husband's websites and vice versa.†Caused for the oud forum to be shouted down.

I think the problem was about disputes arising from people possibly using the forum for sales / marketing and promotion. I think this is different from what you describe. I'm willing to bet that there were a bunch of complaints / reports to moderators and they didn't feel like they had the time to sort it all out and just shut it down as a quick way to deal with all the complaints. I am just guessing...

Mr. P maybe you are right about using marketing and promotion, i have read all treats of the forum starting from around 2007-2008 and have never see any (well maybe a little) marketing and promotion about any product as the BN member "Shogun" from shebaroud did it on the BN oud forum right before the forum was shout down.

My top hindis are Assam organic 2004,Oud Isa and vintage. Masterpiece has a lovely anamalic twist and is a very potent oil. I smelt very bad hindis in the past which put me off them im glad ive now found amazing hindis the scent profile is so unique

I really have not explored Hindi oils enough. The samples that I have have some very challenging top noted but invariably dry down to an absolutely wonderful vibrant woody base. Not my favorite type of oud overall but clearly an amazing material or the exploring further. If there was just some way to separate that wonderful woody base from the funky rotten top notes that would make me very happy! My guess is that it has already been achieved and I just haven't smelled this type of oil yet!

Maybe it wasn't such a big deal. I think a lot of it was subtle and by people using pseudonyms and not admitting their identity. I could of course be totally wrong… It is probably best to move on and keep it positive!

Mr P you seem at the stage i was at a good few months ago, once you discover these gems hindis will be at the top of your oils list i can assure you! are you based in the UK?

Among my Hindi's, the 80-year old Kalakassi is deep, smooth and rich. Because it's scarce in supply, I reserve it for special occasions.

But I have to say, Feel Oud's Old School Hindi is a regular go-to for a fix. Its barnyard jolt fades in minutes, and it morphs into a resinous, leathery, warm haze.

While it has northern Malaysian roots, the Al Shareef ll has a nice Hindi profile, at least on me,
