Oud Yusuf - Ensar Oud

This one will always have a place in my heart as it was my first full bottle oud purchase. It's one of the most delicious floral, honeyed, fruity syrups you will ever smell. And the price is definitely right on this one as well.

m.arif I like the opening very much but the barny drydown not so much, Its OK because its a leather barn and I accept this sort, its not fecal or animalic barn wich I have difficult with

bhanny Iam have many interest for this wild thai...thanks for the review 😉

Cool! There are different kinds of barn it seems. Gotta keep learning then

Do review the Mai Bo rai once you receive it!

Of course my friend, it is quite nice. It is different than anything I have ever smelled. I need to spend more time with it to give it a proper review. Plus I'm not great with individual notes, etc. But it is very nice.

m.arif yes there is many sort of barn...mai bo rai is an other sort...for me its a blood/metalic sort of barn, other say rotten fruit, I have dificulty with this sort of barn, this is why I swape Trat Adventure.

all i can say about all three oils at the moment is wow.

will be posting full reviews of all three oils once i have spent more time with them.

in the mean time i will leave you with this: im seriously getting some kyara notes from AdhirÄjya and the scent of RÄjakÄ«ya makes me think of the pulsating heart of the most ancient tree of a primeval jungle. wow.

can't wait to grow old with these oils and see them grow

Abdullah thanks for the review...cant wait to try this first in the world incense grade srilanka oud.

First time I smell this "blood" note was in a perfum call "secretions magnifique" from Etat libre d'orange (niche perfum)

I am really surprise that people in France will be ok with secretion magnifique but not ok with Hindi oud, I will take any time any day the most fecal hindi than secretion magnifique,

whatever decide to call it niche perfumery this.....I don't even know how to call it

secretion magnifique is the most disgusting think I ever smelled.

peter4ptv now this note specially in perfumes are really normal and many famous company make it like Muscs Koublai Khan Serge Lutens & Roja dove diaghilev

but our dear friend Tarek from Paris (he is lover of animalic & barnyard aroma! and so geeky with Indian Oud) he don't use barnyard or anamalic Oud in public!

Does anyone know of an oil with the sour note that I smell in aged Kalakassi and Kanaam. Is this note present in Ajmal Masterpiece?

riviera274 MP are different are more classic with animalic and different from tow oils u speak about if you like soourness of citrus fruits and greeny kinam you can find it with Burmese ouds

Sultan Ahmet, Copper Co-distillation of Brunei and Papau New Guinea, I love the PNG aura. Intertwined with the Brunei malaccensis, this oil emanates floral exquisiteness enveloped in that irresistible ocean of new guinea gyrinops.

Sounds great. I love that combo. Don't have this one but the Brunei/NG or Borneo/NG combos are generally awesome.
