Mysuru 2025 from @AlHind Oud is making me very happy at the moment... quite appealing sweet woody buttery classic sandalwood, warm fuzzy light musky, slight but minimal nuttiness - very clean clear pristine heartwood aroma
excellent, sounds great. It's interesting to see that that intense yellow color evident during the early stages did not persist into the full distillation! I actually would've been pretty puzzled if you'd ended up with a yellow oil like that!Got my mesOUD Kabini today, with lightning-fast delivery.
Can’t wait to hear what our sandalwood connoisseurs think about this blonde bombshell…
Straight off the bat, it shows sharp, lemony citrus, beautifully poised with spiced butter and cream. The sharpness and creaminess are in perfect balance here…it makes me think of young white Burgundy in that respect. The profile is ‘all killer, no filler’, with very little of the white-woody dullness that marrs the more insipid sandalwoods I have tried. Instead, the woody notes here are much more ‘noble’ and integrated with the rest of the profile.
There’s also a pillowy, soft texture here that I haven’t found in other sandalwoods. And it lasts on skin for ages…
I’m not a sandalwood expert, but if this isn’t first-rate, I don’t know what is.

As a physicist, you probably know this better than anyone. 😊 The apparent color changed mostly because of the optical path length, not because the oil itself changed.excellent, sounds great. Got my first swipe of this beauty today and your words are spot on my friend!Got my mesOUD Kabini today, with lightning-fast delivery.

HaHawaiian Sandalwood 2017 ~ Scents of Knowing
Not all sandalwood oils improve with age. A little cream but mostly pencil.
scents of knowing, eh? Very rare to see a review of their oils… I have a few samples that were pretty interesting. 🙂Hawaiian Sandalwood 2017 ~ Scents of Knowing

Enjoy it brotherSo, I just received my meagre gram of Kabini from @mesOUD and I'm immediately regretting not getting a larger bottle. I have a lot of sandalwood oils in my collection. 95% of them are top shelf. How much sandalwood does one honestly need? So, with that in mind I thought I'd be a good little boy and only get myself a gram of this from brother Mehemet. I knew it would be very good because it is from MesOud after all but this is really something else! It really smells quite distinctively different from all my other sandalwoods. It has this warm roasted note in the opening that's unfamiliar to me. Immediately diving deep into pure buttered wood. This is the kind of oil that you want to rub all over yourself. Incredible.
Oh I am, trust me!!Enjoy it brother
I have also experienced the idiotic laughter, usually with especially fine Jasmine and Rose but also oud and sandalwood. Always enjoy your postsHi Salam dear Ouddicts 🙂
Today I swiped Kabini from MesOud…
🔪🍋🍦🌰🥜🍫🍪🧈🥐🥞🪵
What is thaaat… again …
Honestly I am a Oud man…
I like sandalwood but I prefer Oud oils 🤪 but this is special …
When I received the package I thought the bottle was opened during the fly … after that Fedex plastic opened , I immediately smelled a strong powerful sandalwood scent filling my entire room …
I was like “😱😭noooo the bottle is broken … and Mehmet doesn’t has anymore Kabini left available 😢”
But I quickly understood that the bottle was safe and I just smelled the oil from out of the bottle …
I immediately understood the power of Kabini …
Kabini isn’t like Sandalwood oil … this oil slap your face like an Oud oil do !!!
First the color is a “ Trompe l’œil” this pale yellow color almost white seems “light” but the smell is a powerhouse… 💣💥
I’ve never experienced any sandalwood oils with that power !!
Sometimes when I bring an oil under my nose for the very first time , something happening in my brain and I laugh… literally…like an idiot … 🤓
I think this is an euphoric feeling…
It usually happens with some Oud oils …
This is exactly what i experienced with Kabini !
Like all MesOud oils, all the notes are at the right place … the equilibrium is just perfect subhanallah…
I don’t like so much sharp notes in sandalwood because they miss the creamy base notes …
Here you get the best part of both sandalwood oil style …
This is a Sharp lemony dry woods with the right amount of spices , of nuts , and the right amount of butter and cream …
The notes are complex and the evolving is beautiful… my favorite part is during the first hours cuz that white creamy buttery white chocolate with sandalwoodish vapor is like medicine for my heart …
Like usual , zero auxiliary notes … juste the purest accuracy smell to the wood … I even would say it smell better than any sandalwood I heated myself soo far …
My only regret is i didn’t bought more of this treasure…
I know it is a baby … but such a baby 😅
I wish you all a Gooud swipe of sandalwoooood 💉🪵

Yes bro indeed with One rose I had this reaction …I have also experienced the idiotic laughter, usually with especially fine Jasmine and Rose but also oud and sandalwood. Always enjoy your posts
Mann these words means a lot to meI'm stoked for it. I remember he has good taste in sandalwood oils so I'm looking forward to his take. Loved his NTT batches.
The only issue with my incessant hoarding of MesOUD distillations is the fact that I wish I bought two of each--one to wear and one to age. Young, they have a common thread, but a year or two later they change substantially and then you really realize that these distillations are basically whipping any SQ oil I've ever tried and up there consistently with the best in the world with a unique and cohesive style. I guess that's what happens when you have the resources, willpower and quality control to do what Mehmet's doing.
Did you get your hands on some of this sandalwood from MesOud mate? Would like to hear your opinion on it.I have also experienced the idiotic laughter, usually with especially fine Jasmine and Rose but also oud and sandalwood. Always enjoy your posts
