I work for New York City’s Dept of Ed. In the HR Admin office. I used to be in a manager position, but was demoted to a much safer civil service job. I was lucky, in the end, to be demoted rather than fired because I got sick and could no longer do my managerial position.

Oh well. I still kept my full pay, and our last pay increase for the new contract kicked in today. 3.25% for the last 4 years. Yay!
Thanks for the support you are the best!

Is it a family size business or bigger? Must be interesting. Here in Europe they have been making it so difficult for small family artisan businesses to survive.
That's extremely interesting, I had always made the assumption you guys would have it easier given the tradition there. There's so many hoops we have to jump through. Very difficult.
Alas...
It's a small sized business milking about 50 cows solely for the production of cheese and a tiny portion set aside for raw organic milk pick ups.

Ah the EU has introduced so many regulations based on health and safety that many small family businesses can no longer trade.

You know I love looking into a good microscope. I spent a fair amount of time sectioning, staining, studying, and describing what tissue can be found in the fungi! I can understand why you would love it. 🙂

Sounds fascinating! I followed the work of Doudna and Charpentier; absolutely love that they received the 2020 Nobel Prize in Chemistry for CRISPR Cas gene cutting, etc.
Amazing - microbiology, bacteria and archaea infected with virus phages is how they both started.
Just fascinating!

Heck, many American corporations can't vend manufactured products to European customers!
But someone has to look out for the masses, they need us working folks!

Pleased to meet you!
Sir or Ma'am?
I have only connected with a small number of(2) of people interested in QM on line.
Certainly the University has a number, but life in general does not.
When I was first was introduced to the double slit experiment years a go, a lot of things began to make sense as well as a lot more questions.

hello everyone.
I am passionate about coffee and I have made it my job.
I converted an electric bike into a traveling coffee shop and I sell freshly roasted coffee on the street or at events with professional equipment, in my city.
I work with artisans who import coffee from Rwanda, Colombia and Ethiopia for example.
So Unique. Congratulations

Feynman! Great Stuff
I follow religiously via Nature publications.
I only wish I were 25 years old again and could fill up a whole new brain!
