!!!!!!! THIS amazing treat from @SULAYM came today. Had to leave town a day early and missed my original delivery , but was somehow smart enough to realize I could get this rerouted to my hotel. I have to watch my money right now but all the amazing Eid Al Adha sales had my head spinning. As much as I’d love the HM Oud sampler this was much more obtainable for me. Maybe my only chance to own any SQ archive materials.

All I can say is Wow. 😍😍😍 Too tired to shower at the moment and I want to be a blank canvas for my first wear so I just did a micro dab and the projection is wild. Monster projection as the cool kids say. This really makes me appreciate how high quality all of the @RisingPhoenix sandalwoods I’ve so far smelled are. First impression is mega woody and high keyed, but after just a few seconds this has bloomed into a super sweet cloud. If anything it reminds me of a maceration I have going of sandalwood, frangipani and tulsi. Burnt sugar and orchids. Hyper clean, peachy deer musk. Can’t wait to really see how this develops.

It's a very very good sandalwood. Every fan needs some of this.

Got a .25 of Borneo Diesel on the way ! Also wanna shout out the seller for printing out his own replica labels. This goes a long way with me , my OCD can't handle them written labels especially with sloppy ass handwriting.

Got some agarwood and myrrh incense by @Taesik Yun and the Merauke one is phenomenal, I shall do a write up when I can, they are VERY psychoactive in a sedating way, I see myself using these as a sleep aid, I feel like I am just awakened. They are 3.94inches, I didn't count how long it lasted, but I would say the stick lasted atleast 15mins, wouldn't be surprised if it was a little more, quality sticks.

I somehow missed that Taesik had taken the crafting to the level of offering packaged sticks - that's awesome. Really nice to see this - they look immaculate.

Just arrived today - a box of samples from ASO. Got one little sniff of each of the items - very interesting stuff of immediately appreciable quality. I think I've mentioned very occasionally laughing out loud in appreciation when checking out samples that are unusually delightful or surprising, this set was one of those. This includes rose, jasmine, ambergris and musk attars, vetiver, and frankincense. 😀

My daughter knows me enough not to worry when she saw me sniffing the little bottles and chuckling in appreciation a short while ago.

I will share my thoughts as i get to know these beauties.

I’ve had a load of samples in my basket from A.S.O. For a while waiting till i hopefully have the spare money to purchase So this is making me jealous! Also to take a picture with some facing the wrong way some how ain’t right😂

Oud Qaysar finally arrived today, going to have to put it on when I get home from work.

Also got a couple of sinking pieces of woods and a 0.25 of Qi Rose from @mesOUD As always can’t wait to get an order from him, double excited as this will be the first time I’m smelling his own distillation😁

Super Smooth Floral- Grandawood. This opens with a combo of diesel and funk, not unpleasent at all but a little much initially. This quickly transition's into it's namesake...Super Smooth Floral. A plantation Crassna with no apologies. Easily wearable. Very woody. Nothing really outstanding but nice nonetheless. Reminding me of a Trat or similar. If asked blindly that would be my first guess actually but I'm still trying to understand nuances. Overall a nice oud.

Shoutout to @AlHindOud for throwing in all these extras along with the Oud Qaysar order as well! Samples of Lao Gold 2, Koh Kong, and some Mysore sandal root and Cultivated Kinam to throw on the subitism. Mysore root was smelling loud like butter and the CK has a beautiful sugary spiced room temp smell. Can’t thank him enough for the extra goodies, and will try to guess what this oil is for y’all, albeit will be amateur guesses here.

Overwhelmed with all the generosity I have received from him and all the other vendors on here🥰 Every single time I think it ends, I’m surprised again by just how amazing this community is! I’ll be feeling grateful every time I swipe the oils and heat these woods.

Late birthday gift from a fellow brother in oud 😉.

Pieces of Ensars Borneo "Kinam" and tons of Old Stock Peaceful Sky (btw I just done a full session with the 20 sticks he gave me last time and now that I have experienced a few different high quality kyara's, which I think refined my nose a bit more, again, seems like this hobby does that quite regularly lol, the old stock sticks are FULL OF wild Kyara. I would say they have more Kyara than aloeswood, and the aloeswood is super high in quality too, the notes were just fully kinamic basically, with some aloeswood bolstering them, ahh I do wish they still made them like that) and Shoyeido's old premium stick sampler with the famous kyara stick they had that they discontinued, there's no pics of them though, but will share once they are with me.
