I believe my package from myoudshop has arrived and I will be picking it up tomorrow! My first set of woods, hydrosol spray, and a couple of new oils from him. Hopefully cave.oud has subitisms available soon as I have decided to order something to begin listening to these. I was undecided between a subitism and the ceramic Chinese kyara heater, but ultimately decided a subitism would probably suit my needs better. Excited to finally be able to post on burn of the day here too haha

Package has arrived safe and sound from myoudshop! So stoked to get my nose on all of these. From sneaking a peak at all the vials I’m going to have a lot of fun swiping these oils and listening to these woods. Hopefully will be able to grab this subitism this weekend and be able to get some heat on these specimens. Can’t thank Irfan enough for getting these out to me, I’ll make sure to share my thoughts on them all for y’all.

Just received this order. I am very excited to try them out. I already tried the joss sticks and I have to agree with @Ahmaoud the quality of sandalwood used here is very high. These sticks are a great value if you like sandalwood. I burned the core stick on its own it is practically smokeless with minimal smell.

Kangiiten order came today!!! The Sumatora hirta is amazing, I will do a write up about it either later today, or do another session tomorrow, it is highly fragrant at room temp in the bottle, and reminds me of the wild kyara creaminess note and some others with an Indonesian profile, I only needed this much for a super strong aroma that started at 80c but sang at 120-160c and is still going after a good bit.

I've read that it is just subtracting the voltage by 0.5 and multiplying by 100 would give you the temps in celsius degree.
I've tested it, and it's not accurate honestly, but I tested the temperature using a laser detector from a far so even my thermometer is not accurate. so I came to a conclusion that I needed a heater with temps numbers instead of subitism with voltage.

TL;DR, buy a heater 🙂

This will change depending on your setup. I will assume you are talking about the voltage on a subitism heater. The longer your wire is the more volts you will need to heat it up. So if you can have the same voltage on 2 different heaters and they can both give heat up differently

!!!!!!! THIS amazing treat from @SULAYM came today. Had to leave town a day early and missed my original delivery , but was somehow smart enough to realize I could get this rerouted to my hotel. I have to watch my money right now but all the amazing Eid Al Adha sales had my head spinning. As much as I’d love the HM Oud sampler this was much more obtainable for me. Maybe my only chance to own any SQ archive materials.

All I can say is Wow. 😍😍😍 Too tired to shower at the moment and I want to be a blank canvas for my first wear so I just did a micro dab and the projection is wild. Monster projection as the cool kids say. This really makes me appreciate how high quality all of the @RisingPhoenix sandalwoods I’ve so far smelled are. First impression is mega woody and high keyed, but after just a few seconds this has bloomed into a super sweet cloud. If anything it reminds me of a maceration I have going of sandalwood, frangipani and tulsi. Burnt sugar and orchids. Hyper clean, peachy deer musk. Can’t wait to really see how this develops.
